‘let him go.’ Shut, DING! The young lion blinked several times. With it the odd fading sound of clicking. He heard Daphne’s voice. He felt lost. He felt pain in his head. Where was he? The mission! When his eyes opened, he found that he stood in front of Nymph and another costumed youth that he vaguely recognized. Strangely, he smelled familiar? The voice of the robbers over his shoulder cut his attention and reflexively, he turned to face them. Other bodies quickly moved around him. The first was Stormcaller, who immediately flew into action, knocking out one and briefly stunning the other. Next was Rain and Talos, the latter finishing the fight. When it came to Rain’s question though, Kila paused. His eyes wandered the room, and his breathing was calming. ”I…I have blacked out. I am stable now, though…” His eye followed the destruction of the room, from the damaged property to the bloodied body of the man on the ground. ”Have the threats been neutralized?” “Negative. Every robber has been incapacitated, yes, but there's the matter of you... “ The phrase pried Kila’s view from the scene up to his teammate’s ever stoic gaze. ”I don't know what happened to you and there's no assurance that it won't occur again. I think you're better off zeta tubing back to base.” ‘What happened’ to him? Kila’s eyes slid back to the man who looked as though he had been mauled by…The young lion looked down at his hands, seeing blood intermittently spotted and streaked up his arms. Then, as he was to look back up, he heard a shuffle of debris, making eye contact with one of the hostages who had come to peek out when the situation calmed. The look of fear on the man’s face was enough for Kila to cast his vision away. The young lion sighed on his walk out of the room to the stairwell. Stay Composed...
