Yeah it can all work. And Metal Slug has so much crazy stuff in it that it can incorporate much from these avenues depending on what the GM wants. You can have alien/human hybrids and soldiers made into gun-toting monkeys pilot [url=https://s3.amazonaws.com/tf.images/reduced-image_20446_0_1653537193.jpeg]transforming metal slugs[/url] (or even something out of JoyToy's Steel Bone series) in search of an ancient, magical power in the backdrop of a ruined, zombie-infested countryside.

Anyone who can navigate through all that is definitely GM material in my eyes.
