If they roll differently, then she's not in range to disrupt and this plays out like a normal magic combat would. 2. If in range, they do head to head d5 rolls, with the venomhand having advantage. Whatever the difference between their rolls is what is subtracted from each die rolled by the other player. 3. For example: Taleja is within range to cause disruption. She rolls a 2 and a 5. Ashon rolls a 3. He is using Kinetic and hits his d2, so he's rolling 4d10. Once per scenario, the user may enter grayspace by circling the ground with their left heel. Sumpfkrake (Alpha and Runt Sumpfkrake females, complex patterns - shifting) These clever semi-terrestrial cephalopods have excellent camouflage skills and can use simple magic spells. They are able to change colour, are extremely resilient, and are said by some to be as loyal as dogs. They may also resist most if not all magic dampening, command magic, and internal magics. Like many other intelligent animals, they love shiny things. Heart of the Ocean - a legendary sea sapphire that can be sold for a fortune. Can accept quadruple platinum manas for enchantment. Will yield 36 manas on an item. [b]Minor:[/b] - [u][b]Magical Items:[/b][/u] The Belcher: This large, wide-brimmed hat is deep grey, crusty, and grimy, with a rough, fire-blackened metallic rim at the top. Whenever its wearer is drawing, it will suck in all surrounding energy within 20 yards indiscriminately, also causing allies to have to roll a (d4) to not lose their turns. When the wearer casts, it will belch thick gouts of sickening, sparking, hot black smoke. These may be controlled by the user as if they are extra limbs. Before each action, the wearer may roll a (d4). If they roll a 4, they will receive an extra turn, though they may not combo with themselves. For each successful attack or defense, smokey arms will grow in power by 2, up to a maximum of 16. This extra power may be added to attacks, movement, weakening, and defenses. Provides 22 manas. Plushtail Oil (powdered): As a powder, however, it can be inhaled and cause a hyper-aggressive reaction from manas akin to an auto-immune response, causing severe pain and very briefly disabling magic to those that breathe it. Very risky to use (will need to roll to not be afflicted as well). Exceedingly rare and not produced anymore as it was considered not worth it. The Ballista requires one turn to reload once a shot is fine, however one can still act during that turn as the reloading is automatic. Binding can be used OFFENSIVELY with this weapon (Used to create a stabiliser to reduce recoil to compensate for strength). The type of bolt inserted is determined by the wielder. Either by manually inserting it or letting the automatic enchantment do its thing.
