Caitlin

Stepping Into the Storm
Approaching Aurora, [@WolfLover] Caitlin entered the house to the wall of sound from whatever brand of club music the DJ was blasting. The people inside seemed mostly oblivious to the fact that anything odd had happened; the barrier might has well have not existed to any of them. Cait, standing between the foyer and the dining room darted her eyes every which way through the swelling crowd of party animals. There were only a handful of people that she could have stood to look for in that moment. Carlisle would have been on the top of that list; she remembered being told that he and his family were the ones most strongly connected to the barrier. Not seeing Car through the gaggle of people, she looked then for Lilith; she might have an answer, and having someone friendly to shadow felt right to Cait too. Lilith wasn't around either. For a second she thought about finding Daniel; the thought was dismissed almost as soon as it came. Cait shook her head. Holding onto her breath, Cait weaved haphazardly around the others. Emerging from a pool of people, she was facing the doorway back to the veranda. But her attention was drawn instantly to a spot off to the side. There! Cait spotted Aurora, seeming beside herself. It was a peculiar, and altogether bothersome sight. For the short time Cait had gotten to know Rora, she had always been the level headed sort. If she was in a panic... Cait shook her head again. She approached Aurora calmly, being sure she wouldn't sneak up on her. "Hey. Aurora?" She spoke just loud enough to cut over the music. Her calm facade masked the well of fear she felt inside; she felt she owed Aurora the same groundedness she had long projected. "What's going on?" She lowered voice a bit. "The Barrier is down... does Car know?"
