The sunlamp almost lit her path as it tried its hardest to illuminate the undercity of Northbridge, refracting rays of light every which way as they bounced off the chemical fog. The streetlights had marginally more success, although in a different hue. It reminded her of those heavily edited filters Influencers would put over their streams when they were broadcasting topside. She never understood the appeal, but looking at the otherworldly glow that seemed to emanate from every direction, she was starting to think that she could appreciate the aesthetic. A flicker of sky-blue movement caught her eye. Some sort of canine flitted down from a lamp and now it stood crouched in the middle of the street. It vaguely reminded her of Failinis, the thought of the lumbering beast bringing a brief pang of longing for the Isle; a moment of curiosity about how her parents were faring. The smartest thing for her to do would have been to ride right past the dog, there was always the chance it was some sort of Corpo drone or a leftover K-90 unit from the war. Despite that, she couldn't help but imagine it was the same dog from her favorite cartoon growing up, LASS-E. Besides that, if it managed a lucky shot while she drove past and thrashed her engine, she would have to sell it for parts in order to afford repairs, and kicking puppies was never a good look. Her bike crept to a stop as she pursed her lips and let out a low whistle, body shifting into Breaker form, "You're a cute little guy ain't ya?" She looked around for anyone else on the road. It seemed the police raid hadn't reached this part of the town just yet. "You don't look like Ares Tech. What're you doing all the way out here? Did Timmy get caught by the police? They fall in with the wrong crowds so young these days." She walked the bike a few steps closer to the dog, hand outstretched.
