There was apprehension misting the air around everyone’s auras. It was only healthy that such an occurrence took place. The situation was of brave importance, and without a little stress to sharpen the moods, they would all fall dull and flat against the coming enemy. Aurora was sufficiently aware of her own apprehensions. However, with the quick and resourceful learnings of Zoe’s, Aurora felt a calmness towards the situation. The humans were remarkable creatures — just as her father had always taught Rowan and her. He spoke so highly of them that Aurora felt a little embarrassed at how surprised she was by their strength and powers. Of course, the human condition was still fragile, and Aurora noted several such delicacies within the fabric of Cora’s persona. The glow of her aura was rarely proven dull and lacking in shine, but it had tender moments that Aurora felt more than responsible for taking under her care. She tried her best to relay these responses to Rowan. Zora was a natural, which proved itself prosperous and also problematic at times. She was fiercely independent — just like that of the ocean. But, Aurora had to remind herself (and one day Zora) that even the ocean was guided by the celestial beings. For now, allowing Zora the free-range of experimenting with what she could with her powers was proving wise enough: “Water has the properties to heal and to cause harm. It is a powerful element and must be used with sincere caution. Even a small trickle can shape mountains.” There was more Aurora wished to speak of, in terms of water and the potentials of powerful damage. Still, those lessons would come later, as to not distract the purity of Zora’s training. It was a beautiful day in Riverbloom. The group was taking a break at the Daisy, a tiny bakery in Riverbloom known for its cakes. Rowan and Aurora had both those to skip Books and Cookies for something a little more leisurely. It seemed in the past week, the two of them had been filling Zora to the brim with information, and Aurora was afraid the amount of information would turn toxic after a while. The Daisy was quaint and quiet. It contrasted the boldness of Zora’s attire, but Aurora had no such insight on the situation. All she could see was the calmness of the the environment had on everyone. “Zora, you are learning so quickly. I understand that I keep encouraging you with similar compliments, but truly, this I am impressed. Your inner glow is shining more diligently, as well. Please, be honest. How are your thoughts?” After her question, Aurora cheerfully took a small bite from her piece of cake. The cutlery was prominent in fairy taste, and the cake was even more delicious.
