The former basketball phenom never did deal with overwhelming, sudden noises very well. Even on the hardwood, the blaring of the speakers and the screams of the crowd had always been some of the things she actively disliked about the game. She soldiered through it, but it was like nails on a chalkboard sometimes. Turns out, someone turning up the volume was just like that. She didn’t want to be rude or unreasonable, because it was mostly a “Lakisha problem” rather than a “other people problem”. 

Still, she never got to talk openly about her powers before. Her ‘hyperhuman experience’. 

[color=dodgerblue]“As for me? I’m a runner. I go fast.”[/color]

[color=dodgerblue]“The longer I sprint, the faster I go. Fastest I’ve ever clocked… well, the incident, it, I ran the full length of a basketball court faster than anybody could really keep up with.”[/color] She pauses, [color=dodgerblue]“I [i]think[/i] I can outpace a car.”[/color]

She felt it was true enough. She wouldn’t know for sure, though, until she got some numbers on her abilities from the school. Part of why Kisha decided to attend wasn’t just because P.R.C.U. was the only university that would take her but also it was hyperhuman in nature and the teachers wanted you to get a good control of your power. The fact the school was tucked away on an island away from the mainland unnerved her, but it also meant that everyone you interacted with shared the same condition as you did.
