Lucille is able to speak Russian, and she had moved from the heavily populated city to the south in order to escape the outbreak. She was able to take her police flashlight from under her bed, but she also has a butcher knife tucked in her belt loop. She was in college when the news hit about an outbreak, and she packed up immediately and left. 

The girl keeps a walkie talkie on her, and though the world has gone to shit, she still has her business suit on, but instead she sports combat boots and her skirt is ripped, her blouse from a pure white to a pure white with dirty stains lingering. She fights hard to keep her mind set on being a good person in this new world.
