Hello hello!

It has been years since the last time I visited and actively took part in RPing here. Actually, I dropped roleplaying altogether for a good while. Now there's an itch that needs to be scratched, and instead of being a player, I wanted to try my hand at being the one who's telling the story. So please bear with my inexperience as a GM.


So what's this RP about? Well, I've slowly been constructing a little world based around some of my original characters. The setting is high fantasy involving elves, magic, dragons, monsters, etc etc. The players start out as strangers in a foreign land, arriving due to unfortunate circumstances (the default is a band of sailors shipwrecked, but you can suggest alternatives). The starting point is the kingdom of elves, so if you want to play a native you can PM me for further details, but you might find it a bit dull in the beginning as you'd know the details the others will explore at the start, but I can work with this as well.


It might feel sandbox-ish at times because I want players to explore the world they are settling into before throwing them into the blender. Bear in mind that I'm quite a busy person IRL, it might take time to respond, so I try to give as much opportunity for you guys to interact among yourselves. Create friendships, rivalries, close relationships, or duke it out, I' all in for characters interactions. [color=ed1c24][b]I've put the 18+ tag because of violence, alcohol and drug use, language, and characters might present suggestive themes, but if you guys have a need to get frisky, you go to PMs for that.[/b][/color]


I'm pretty lax on character creation. Go crazy with races and themes, so long as you're not making an actual god. Magic and warfare is very much present in this setting, so you have a lot of freedom if you want to play spellcasters or warriors. Heck, if you wanna be a blacksmith or a farmer, you guys can have it. Technology is quite restrictive however, so if you plan to introduce a technologically-advanced character into the RP, you'll have to work your way around bringing your character's knowledge into this foreign land.
