"not much to tell. My mother raised me, as best she could, but she isn't exactly the emotion showy type. I grew up nevertheless, fairly normal, if you excuse the fact I was a very closed off kid. The other kids thought I was weird. And then, of course, my powers developed and I couldn't even go near my highschool without flying off the handle. So I stayed home as much as I could, changed to home schooling. And worked for six months at my mother to get her to let me come to the academy" Kalinda said, keeping her voice at a neutral tone. 

"I've only been here a few days, but the academy is full of more life then I doubt I've ever had, or will ever see again" She smiled, "I like it."
