Growing up in Angel Grove Anne always had a good relationship with her parents. They were always willing to let her do the things she wanted and that typically meant going out for sports, Martial Arts Training, and one of her favorite things, working with her dad in the family auto shop. She had started out by helping him in their family garage, and soon enough, she began helping in the shop by the time she was 14 quickly growing into one of the shop favorites both with customers and with the other people in the shop.

On top of her love for being active and helping her father, she always loved singing and entering the school talent shows even if she never won anything she just enjoyed the performance aspect of it all and it helped her maintain self-confidence. 

Being a woman in a field typically dominated by men has led to her being targeted by bullies from time to time but thanks to working in and around the shop and the people in it. she learned very quickly how to use her words to fire back without ever having to resort to violence though when she's had to she's always been a force to be reckoned with as her small lithe frame helps her generally outspeed opponents.

A few weeks after the start of Senior year, her friend Zeek invited her and their other friends over and told them about the things that had happened to him and revealed the Scarabs to them. In utter shock and disbelief, Anne was about to turn herself around and walk away not wanting to believe her friend had gone this far off the deep end. That's when the attack came, Realizing her friend had been telling the truth and feeling a bit guilty about it she agreed to bond with one of the Scarabs and has since fought side by side with her friends boded to the White Scarab
