[indent]Priya Haines was born and raised in New York City. Her mother's name is Sarah Haines, and her father's name is John Haines. Growing up, Priya had a modest upbringing, with her father working as a mechanic and her mother as an ER nurse. Despite having a tight-knit family, Priya was often left alone in their apartment due to her mother's demanding work schedule.

It was during these periods of solitude that Priya discovered her passion for drama and acting. She would spend hours watching her mother's video collection of plays and musicals, immersing herself in the characters and stories. As she got older, Priya began performing in amateur productions in middle school, which further fueled her passion for acting.

However, pursuing acting wasn't always easy for Priya. Her father, who had to juggle his job and transporting Priya to rehearsals, often became frustrated with her commitment to acting. Despite this, Priya remained determined and eventually caught the attention of a talent agent.

The agent recommended her for a scholarship to attend Edgebaston, a prestigious high school known for its performing arts program. Although her father was initially hesitant, he eventually agreed to let Priya attend, recognizing the potential benefits it could bring to her future college applications.

Now, after spending three years at Edgebaston, Priya has become a rising star in the world of acting. Her father, while still occasionally frustrated by the demands of her profession, couldn't be prouder of her success and the opportunities that it has brought her.[/indent]
