Fleuri turned away from the duel to see Tyaethe's swift return...carrying a woman, who was in turn carrying a child.  This was no ordinary woman, though.  He recognized her as Lilianna Belwiss, senior Iron Rose and mentor to Fanilly, and the child must be her young daughter.  While she currently was working a desk job and training the captain due to having a young daughter, Fleuri remembered seeing her swordplay skill firsthand in tournaments many years ago, back before he was a knight.  And was that a knife sticking out of Tyaethe?

The vampire's audacity was truly a sight to behold.  The perks of being an un-living legend, no doubt.
