In regards to starting locations, Eskel is somewhere out in the remote Casperus countryside, shut up in his tower like a proper wizard. But that said he is highly mobile should the need arise, I did venture in my C.S that he's capable to casting teleportation magic. Could be used to gather the more distant party members? As long as the GM approves of course. ALSO! I have completed my relationships info, going to post here in the OOC first to give everyone a chance to offer feedback or request changes before I add it to my sheet.

Gideon Fairbright "Ha, noble Gideon, always trying to being the perfect hero. But he wouldn't say that of course, far to humble to ever even dream of it. But don't be fooled he's not as holy as he makes out, he got a taste of power and fame adventuring, and he liked it. Why else would he take the leadership of on the largest guilds on the continent? He wants to feel special, feel powerful. Because he knows that without finding that fae sword of his in a puddle, he's nothing." I imagine Eskel and Gideon have a pretty poor relationship, mostly on Eskel's part. Gideon seems humble, helpful, friendly, the exact opposite of Eskel who's an arrogant little arsehole. He's overtly dismissive of him because of his 'stolen power', but underneath I think Eskel's really quite jealous of him. Gideon is probably the most traditionally 'heroic' character of the group, makes friends and earns peoples appreciation much easier than Eskel. All his disparaging of others and the common masses is really a coping mechanism, to mask his deep down has a need to be loved, by someone, by anyone, mostly because of his own shitty loveless childhood.

Shiri Yuyakori "Shiri was a capable enough fighter, that was to be sure. We weren't particularly close, stayed out of each other's way. I didn't dislike her, Gods only know what she was doing being together with Gideon though. I heard she fixed that particular mistake, but I have no idea what she's doing now" Eskel and Shiri have something of mutual respect as reserved and determined individuals of differing, yet impressive, powers. They could probably bond over their shared institutional raising, although their experiences were quite different. Any hostility in their relationship probably came from Shiri being with Gideon, which again, probably made Eskel insecure and jealous, what with his own unanswered affections for Octavia. Eskel will find her fall into idleness and drinking something of a shock, despite his own even more unhealthy way of dealing with Octavia's death.

Crow "Strange creature that one. Their creations are most ingenious, even to a mage like myself they are intriguing. Especially the story they told about the sentient automaton they created to replace their voice, a shame it was destroyed, I would have loved the chance to examine it. But they need to stop their bleeding heart pouring out all over the place. Crow is easy to take advantage of, they'll do anything to help someone, and once you know that you can play them like a fiddle. I mean, just look at how Octavia recruited them..." Crow seems like such a nice person, even Eskel struggles to find a reason to dislike him. In his own messed up way, Eskel probably thinks he's just trying to look out of the Crow. After all, they are one of the younger party members. Whether Crow appreciates Eskel's advice to being more mistrustful, suspicious and selfish is another matter entirely. One thing I am sure about is Eskel would have definitely offered to try and remove the spell stopping Crow from speaking, he would view an unbreakable curse as a sort of challenge. Whether he was rebuffed, or Crow took him up on the offer only for him to fail is something for Dragonfly to decide.

Abraham "Oh, the Half-Orc Ranger? I almost forgot about him. It's an easy thing, I don't think I heard him speak more than a handful of sentences in the entire time I knew him. But he was a crack shot with a bow, and a reliable sort of fellow. I don't have anything bad to say about him." Abraham and Eskel probably didn't interact that much, what with Abraham's taciturn nature and Eskel's haughtiness when it comes to non mages. Funnily enough, that probably means their relationship is better than some other party members that Eskel either has a grudge with or feels betrayed by in the aftermath of the disbanding of the company.

Naivara Amakiir "Naivara was a fellow scholar of the highest order, even if she did insist on wasting her talents on mere evocation. Oh don't get me wrong, it's useful, but a mind like hers should be probing the deeper mysteries of the cosmos, instead of making things go bang. If she could comprehend the bigger picture, then she would see just how foolish our quarrel is." Eskel and Naivara probably got along quite well, especially in her earlier times with Octavia's company. They're both Wizards, seekers of arcane knowledge, and both share a determined and somewhat fierce nature. Over time though, I can see them becoming more distant, perhaps as Eskel keeps providing Naivara an example of the kind of mage she did not wish to be. With their shared understanding of magic, and hence understanding of just what sort of darkness Eskel is thrusting himself into, I imagine she would have argued him with more fiercely than other party members upon the dissolution of the company. This was likely painful for Eskel, as he had thought he could rely on a fellow mage like Naivara to understand his point of view. Whatever is left of their former friendship is likely strained to the point of breaking.

Yadira Bladesinger "Ah Yadira, that Barbarian marauder is as blunt with her words as she is with an axe. I can't say we ever got on, in fact I think we argued with each other more than just about anyone else. But still, I always appreciate someone who can speak their mind directly." Bit of a weird one, but I can see Yadira and Eskel having one of those frenemy relationships. Their very different, but their both a bit abrasive and don't hold back with their words. They might have been frequent verbal sparring partners when they were both members of Octavia's company. To outsiders it looks like they hated each other, but in actuality them arguing and insulting each other was the basis of their friendship.

Alice Windhorn "Alice the Enigma, you know I'm probably one of the greatest minds on the continent, and I still haven't quite got them figured out, even after all these years. They're no mage, but they have an agile mind and knack for planning." There's some interesting similarities about Alice and Eskel. They're both highly intelligent, they both have something of a hidden core to them that they don't really show other people, and they both have a habit of spirialling out of control unless they have some problem to distract themselves with. I imagine they were relatively friendly, Eskel would have enjoyed treating Alice like some kind of puzzle for him to work out. While Alice probably saw straight through him and realised that a needy, desperate and sad little creature Eskel is under that front of arrogant superiority. Maybe they pitied him.
