[@King Cosmos] Thanks for your interest. To answer your first question, I would say not at first. Just remember that Chaos has been forgotten by the Planes of Creation, and so until you pick up a Chaos Shard and get a bootycall, you wouldn't even know Chaos existed to kill it. That said, as an Archon you could have the secret motivation to kill Chaos while under the guise of serving it. I would just be wary of the more "loyal" followers of Chaos, should you choose to share this plan or put it in motion. Second, I would say probably not. A Shard is an inert vessel (or at least they are assumed to be inert) that has been hidden away/lost/guarded since basically what your plane would conceive of as the beginning of time. I just think that a sentient being would have difficulty fulfilling these requirements. That said, some planes have forces dedicated to safeguarding or otherwise preventing access to the Shards, acknowledging them as evil artifacts even if their true purpose is unknown, so you could probably play with that somehow? Like I said before, I am hesitant to outright say no, but I also want to keep things relatively simple.
