Lajila Nox
Lajila, better known as Jila, waited as patiently as she could for the train. It was already an hour past the time she had meant to get back to her apartment, and she was getting annoyed. She had ordered a pizza and was planning to have a solo movie night where she stayed up past two in the morning and watched horror movies and such. But her plans were pretty much canceled by the late train. What the hell is taking them so long? I need to go home, She thought, pacing a slight bit. Despite her looks, she wasn't very good at figuring out why things happened as such. She froze as her eyes snapped shut. She was plunged into a scene that made her heart race and her skin pale. Farther down the track, from a god-like perspective, Jila could see the train's engine, hurtling at a shockingly fast speed. Then it skidded to a stop, causing a terrible screeching sound that- if heard from a distance- could be mistaken for a bird. The train's engine burst into flames, the blaze spreading too quickly for anybody to contain. Every passenger on that train died- including Jila. Her eyes flew open and she stumbled, almost falling. A few bystanders shouted at her to watch where she was going and she lowered her head. How many people die today? I have to get as many of them to not take the train as possible. But nobody is going to listen to me. It's not worth it, She sighed, fidgeting with her hands as she stood near the edge of the platform, waiting. She only had one thought in her mind- I should have taken the bus.
