Wasn't sure how to work this into the post, so I'll explain it here. Akeno was [i]supposed[/i] to be speaking Japanese before she started eating, saying the standard 'itadakimasu' thing, but the Isekai auto-translate made it come out as English.

I'm working on the assumption that everyone is speaking in whatever way is normal for them, which I think is still English for everyone except Esfir, and it just gets understood by everyone who hears it.
