[@Quartz]: I'll be GMing and controlling a pair of characters who will not be acting as active combatants, in addition to any necessary NPCs.

In terms of the setting, ask me before you determine any details! It might already be figured out, and it's also important to make sure any ideas you have fit the overall setting and tone.
