I won't pretend to fully understand your sentiments, since I just returned to RPG after what, 6 years of hiatus. I've never had the chance to see all my RPs come to completion because they almost always died as fast as they started lol. But I'm truly sorry to hear that what used to be a fun hobby has become a forced activity, and that definitely sucks. While you consider this as the last goodbye to the world of play-by-post roleplaying you once loved and decide to put the pen down (or keyboard) for life, the future is uncertain after all - perhaps one day, someone may rekindle the joy of roleplaying within you by chance. We will never know. :)

Also, it would be nice if we can have a "hug" reaction and a "sad" reaction in addition to the current "Like", "Laugh" and "Thanks" reactions >:| Then I could at least give your post a "hug" and not have to fuss/worry/triple check my post whether or not I've commented appropriately or something.
