He wasn't entirely sure what he had signed up for. He wanted to refuse politely and make his way out, but she looked so sad... He had stopped to help her, after all, so maybe this was fine? The rumours of vampires had been widely exaggerated, so it should be fine. Then again, she was still a stranger of unknown origins, so maybe she was trying to take advantage of him... She was basically asking that to his face, wasn't she?

His mind was going a mile a minute, and he opened his mouth to speak. But all he could say was, "This won't make [i]me[/i] a vampire though, will it?"
