While they were still wary of this whole situation, a feeling of guilt was starting to come over them as they considered how rude they must be coming across to this likely distressed woman. They were about to open their mouth to offer Lian a drink of anything when their phone suddenly went off. 

Originally, Kendra's main ringtone, set for everyone who wasn't her father's side of the family or a roommate, was the song "I've No More F***s To Give" by Thomas Benjamin, an idea which Kendra had found extremely hilarious at the time. However, the joke became much less funny when her phone had gone off in the middle of a work shift, prompting a very stern talking to by her manager. Since then, Kendra had set it to a standard ringtone instead. [color=08a04b]"Sorry, sorry,"[/color] Kendra mutters to Lian as they fish the phone out of their pockets. Seeing Kim's name on the screen, they mouth "Sorry" again to Lian before turning away to answer the phone.
