Well let's see how this one goes over. Anxious. Short-tempered. Italian. These are some of the words one can use to describe Peppino Spaghetti, and if we’re being honest you don’t need many more. Peppino is a simple man, a hard-working business owner that merely wants to keep doing what he loves: making pizzas! Anything that stands in the way of this dream (and anything that stops him from making money) is nothing he wants part of. Peppino is jumpy and fearful, but that doesn’t make him a coward. If anything it spurs him to action, as if the instinctual finger was always pressed down on his ‘Fight’ response. No matter what gets thrown at him he simply does not quit. Because whether in panicked anguish or blinding rage, Peppino is driven by one emotion that burns brighter than the rest: passion. Background: Peppino Spaghetti, owner and proprietor of Peppino’s Pizza, wasn’t seeing amazing success in the realm of pizzeria management. He was in debt and had bills to pay - what else to do but keep plugging along? One day when he was lamenting his wealth woes, a gigantic floating pizza that looked like a face appeared, and claimed that he would destroy Peppino’s Pizza with a big laser atop the nearby and eponymous Pizza Tower. Despite how huge of an insurance payout that was sure to net him Peppino wasted no time in rushing the Tower, determined to claw his way to its top and save his struggling business from laserfication. And, yeah, that’s pretty much it. Specialty: Battering ram, Mook masher, trap checker, free pizza! Level: 1 Experience: 0/10 Powers:

Mach Run: Peppino can really run a mad dash, reaching insane speeds so long as he’s got the room to do so. It’s generally divided into 3 stages, with stage 3 being the fastest of speed and stage 1 being the wind-up into stage 2. The Mach Run lets Peppino bash through metal, mow down enemies, and scramble up walls.
Strengths:

Wrassling Man: Despite Peppino’s noodly limbs he’s actually quite strong and dense. He’s capable of grabbing and lifting things even bigger than himself and carrying them around, tossing them with ease, pulling off spinning piledrivers, you name it.
Lifeless: Peppino comes from a game all about speed, less about platform mastery or combat expertise, and so (typically) lacks the conventional health bar your average protagonist has. He can be beat, bashed, tossed, burned, smacked, stabbed, and he’ll keep on kickin’.
Squash ‘n Stretch: Peppino is at the mercy of the universe, and usually this means getting into wacky antics that cause him pain, grief, or general annoyance, all in the form of transformations. These can be varied, such as being flattened turning him into a literal pancake or gaining control of a big snowball he got swept up inside of, but for the most part involved a physical change to Peppino and altering his capabilities, often replacing raw speed & power for situational assistance.
Weaknesses:

Fear of Adversity: While Peppino is more-or-less invulnerable in regular circumstances, there are times when even he has to rise up to the challenge of a big, bad boss battle. When in a “significant” encounter (like those which provide EXP to its participants or involve a prominent baddie such as a Consul) Peppino “gains” the “ability” to succumb to damage dealt, and he’s not very resistant to pain…
The Wind-Up: A lot of Peppino’s heavy-hitting moves require momentum and time to build them up, such as Mach Run only working when he has the space and ability to pick up speed. In a situation where he’s not able to work up to effectiveness, he’s pretty hapless.
Spirits: Guest List:

Gustavo & Brick: Gustavo - Peppino’s shorter, squatter companion - and Brick - a stupid giant rat - are a tag-team on par with Peppino himself. Overall nicer than the pizzaman, Gustavo & Brick are always there to lend a hand, or help point to the exit.
The Noise: a demented, pizza-hating rapscallion with his own TV show and has it out for Peppino (don’t ask). The Noise has a variety of zany themed devices and weapons he uses to ruin pizza deliveries wherever they may be. Or sometimes he’ll just flip Peppino off. Whichever works best.
Peppino…?: this oozy, shape-changing, freaky thing dubbed ‘Fake Peppino’ is modeled after a warped version of Peppino for some bizarre reason. They say imitation is a form of flattery… It can morph, melt, produce clones, throw its head, and other such unsettling nonsense. Probably best not to question it.
