Standing on the field brought back old memories for Anni; some she felt she still wasn't ready to face despite promising Hanna to let things go. Even to this day, she could still remember each and every painful moment. The spot over by the team benches where she had juice thrown at her while preforming at a home game. The corner of the outer track where she had been purposefully tripped during gym. It all came flooding back to Anni, who couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by just being here.

Although the group conversed among themselves, Anni stood in silence. She couldn't speak, as if her vocal cords had been clamped shut. How pathetic, Anni thought of herself. The memories had always been in her head, and she even once swore revenge for what she suffered through. But now, faced with the music, Anni felt like her high school self all over again. Anxious. Afraid. Upset. She had managed to work up the courage to face CJ head-on, but Ritman was an entirely different beast that she wasn't prepared for.
