The Hulk was still missing. The Avengers hadn't been able to locate him, and neither had they. All they could do at this point was hope that Banner would find his way home one day. Hopefully before long. Lance had finally gotten to a good place with his father, right before Banner disappeared. She thought for a moment about gently peering into Lance's mind, to see how upset he was, but decided against it. She could chat with him later. "Right, here goes nothing then," Guin said, closing her eyes and placing her hands on either side of her head. It was a stupid cliché that most telepaths did, but Guin found that it did help her to ground herself somewhat. She did at least have some practice when it came to using telepathy as GPS - it was how they had made their way to OMEN's black site way back in the day. The thoughts of everyone else on the Blackbird were noisy and Guin did her best to shove them down, to bury them while boosting the very faint aura of Mary's psychic signature. "Okay, I've got them - faint but we're still ways off," Guin explained. She then started to relay to Lance which way to go from here. She ignored the other conversations going on in the jet, mostly because it was hard enough for her to keep a hold on Mary's signal as it was. She didn't need to try multitasking on top of telepathically navigating. He couldn't help but admire the way she could meld into the shadows, becoming something more than human. An aching sensation tugged at the back of his mind, as if he was on the verge of some sort of realization or transformation, before it slipped away. They really had come far as a group. He was not the same person anymore. This was his body, but at the same time, it wasn't. The bones were his - but the skin? the hair? the eyes? They felt like clothes, something that could be put on and removed. Even his name at times felt clunky in his mouth. He didn't always feel like Neil Spellman. These days, he was starting to feel like he was someone else. "Did anything interesting happen in space while we were gone?" he asked Annie softly. As much as silence was probably for the best here, he couldn't help it. Silence just meant more space for his thoughts. There was something nagging away at him, something that he wanted to set aside. He had been pouring into D&D lately to do just that, but he couldn't do that now. He didn't have his manuals and notes on him.
