[color=d19f6a]"Space prison was a weird one."[/color] Ed didn't mention how this reminded him of that. He was thankful that at least the group had wound up together this time. He didn't want to dwell on the bad parts of their trip. The prison at least had been easy enough to break out of. Something he never thought he'd have to do. 

Ed smiled a bit at the memories. He was about to turn and start telling Flynn about the alternate world they had gone to. The sounds of footsteps stopped him. He looked in the direction they were coming from. It was possible they'd have to fight whoever it was. It was also possible they'd be a friendly...or at least neutral to them. He wouldn't bank on that here in a place full of Genoshian refugees, who hated the X-men.

He reached into his pocket and touched the shield charm. He really needed to find a better way to deal with that. Maybe a necklace. But he'd have to keep it tucked into his shirt so it would touch his skin.
