[@The World] Yes, I had intended for the time of year to be June. I should have clarified in the opening post. Digimon can speak through pre-scripted dialogue ("Man, I'm starving!", "Look what I found!"), but some Fresh and In-Training Digimon may not be able to speak until they achieve Rookie form. Kuro is a unique case in that, when he achieves Rookie, he won't be able to speak.

[@TheNoCoKid] To put it simply, the two Digimon are broken down into data, and that data is essentially compiled into a new Digimon with the memories of both Digimon. However, this new form may have a vastly different personality from either of its component Digimon.

[@tobiax] There are no passives unless it's in the form of equipment, such as WarGreymon's Brave Shield and Dramon Killers, or MetalGreymon: Alterous Mode's Alterous cannon.
