After spending the whole day with a smile on her face, she had time to unwind and be herself. Her room, though lacking its usual decor, was still comfortable for her. There, she reread her love letter over and over with a grin on her face and butterflies in her stomach. The blush on her face seemed etched into her skin. She sighed as she set it on her night stand and swiftly changed into a nightgown and pulled her hair into a braid to sleep. Although Sadie laid retired to bed early, she was unable to shake the nagging feeling of trepidation. Her mind raced through the events of the day; Riona, Leo, Verrick, Lyra, the Alidasht and Roman, her kingdom, and anonymous suitor. Almost the entire time she had spent eating. It had been as natural as ever. She buried her face in the pillow and soon found her pillowcase was wet. All those sweets, all the food, was still inside of her. She tossed and turned as she struggled to ignore it. What if… What if she had eaten too much? She thought she hadn’t. It was mostly healthy. What if she gained too much weight? What if she didn’t find anyone because of her size? Sadie gritted her teeth and pulled the covers over her face, hoping her guards wouldn’t hear her tossing and turning. "God, do you ever stop eating!" "Wow, you eat more than my men after training. What's wrong with you?" "You're a pig. I can't stand you. How could you eat that?" ”I don’t think you need anymore though, Princess.” The hours ticked by, but Sadie was wired. Finally, after laying there for what seemed like hours, she angrily climbed out of bed and entered her bathroom. She knelt by the toilet bowl and used her foot to shut the door. As she stared down into the bowl, she promised herself this would be the last time… and quickly stuck her finger down her throat and upheaved. Once she was done, she climbed to her feet and then washed her face and hands. With a deep breath, she stumbled back to bed and collapsed onto her bed, continuing to stain her case with her tears.

Sadie had woken the next day ignoring her nightly activities and focusing on the new day. She ate a quick breakfast which consisted of low carb pancakes, orange juice, muffins, fruit, and a side of hash browns. Her guards looked puzzled as she ate with a vengeance, but they were used to it by now. With seemingly endless energy, she left the dining room and went to change into new attire to go to the beach and collect seashells. There, she met the most handsome and intelligent looking young man named Drake Edwards, another nobleman. Sadie enjoyed his company more than she’d let anyone know, and had shyly tried to form an interaction with him. His hazel eyes rivaled the sea’s beauty, which Sadie listed as one of the most beautiful things she’d seen in the world thus far. The pearl they’d found from the oyster would soon lay in her room, ready to be made into a necklace for them. She had been cautious yet excited about the interaction, and he remained on her mind long after he’d left. They would meet the next day at the Tea Party at the castle and Sadie couldn’t help but look forward to it. The afternoon brought her to meet up with Riona. Sadie’s usual energy had doubled after the beach and seeing her friend. She had confided in Riona regarding Drake while the two of them went shopping and then out to lunch. It was then that Riona had told Sadie about the ball mishap with Lord Leo, which Sadie had been infuriated and upset about. It explained their awkward interaction at the Danrose castle. She didn’t bother voicing her concerns however to the housekeeper, because their fast was nearly over. It infuriated her and knew she would never allow such a horrible act to happen in her kingdom. Regarding this, Sadie went to the housekeeper to complain, and let her know the punishment was injustice and demanded they'd be allowed to eat, and never have it happen again. After finishing her food, Sadie and Riona had gone to have their nails painted. She had paid for everything, pampered Riona, and also given her a seashell. It had been one of her favorite ones, so she was excited to give it to Riona. Afterwards, Sadie retreated to her room. Soon she was met with her brother. They had spent time together discussing the past events. She had confided in him about the archery competition with the rude commoner, meeting the part of the Alidasht siblings, and then confided in him about her meeting with Drake at the beach. She enjoyed chatting with him and discovering how the past few nights occurred. Without the others, Sadie felt more relaxed opening up about different things. Once he’d told her about his mishaps with Thea, Sadie had frowned. The poor dear was quite unwell, and after discovering she’d ghosted him, her temper had been close to flaring. With a sigh, Sadie ignored those emotions, and focused on hanging out with her brother and enjoying his company. Afterwards, Sadie bid him goodnight and began working on creating jewelry and working on a new tiara for herself. Again, she stayed up late...

On Sola 23rd, Sadie was now preparing for the Tea Party. She finished getting ready and stood in front of the mirror. She adjusted her seashell crown and took a deep breath. ”How do I look?” Sadie inquired as she turned to glance at her lady-in-waiting and bodyguard, Genevieve. ”Wonderful, m’lady. The seashells you collected yesterday go nicely with the ensemble.” Genny replied promptly, a smile curling her lips. Sadie dipped her head in respect and then hugged her. ”Thank you Genny!” Sadie chirped, then spun in the mirror to watch her dress twirl and giggled. She stopped and readjusted her tiara and bit her lip. ”Is this--are you sure that my outfit is appropriate for meeting-” M’lady,” Genny interrupted as she came over and fixed her dress and smoothed out her hair, ”You look dashing. Have I ever lied to you?” Sadie bit her lip and shook her head as she stared at the floor. Genny titlted her chin up to force Sadie to look in the mirror at their reflections. ”You look radiant. Now let’s go before you make yourself late.” Soon after, the duo arrived in Sadie’s carriage to the Tea Party. Genny helped Sadie out of the carriage and nodded to the guards to follow behind her. With a deep breath and her heart fluttering, Sadie moved to greet Wystan at the entry. She paused, watching as he patted participants down and tilted her head to one side. Given the circumstances lately, it did not surprise her. After the watchdog was finished, he took one glance at Sadie and then gave her a deep bow. ”Your Royal Highness. Please, you may proceed.” Sadie beamed at Wystan and could barely contain her excitement. ”Wystan!” Sadie exclaimed. She pulled him into a hug unexpectedly and swiftly let go of him after. ”So good to see you! Thank you!” The bodyguard collected himself fairly quickly, and thanked his foresight that day to ensure that his weapons were double-wrapped around his torso. ”Likewise, Your Highness. Please enjoy the gathering.” ”Thank you! I will. This is a great day for an event like this; I hope you can relax after your duty to join us!” She bounced passed him with a smile on her face. She glanced back to ensure that Genny, and her guards, Eric, Holland, and Mikhail were behind her, and then continued forward. Once inside, Sadie glanced around at the guests. She searched until she found Drake Edwards. Her smile graced her face from ear-to-ear, and the air seemed to become warmer and the sun shone brighter than it had moments earlier. Standing a distance away were Genny, and three of her guards. In the back of her mind, she could hear Genny urging her forward (”Go on, Sade, go on!”) Sadie took a deep breath and swiftly approached him, but not without fault; she accidentally tripped on the hem of a lady’s dress near her and crashed to the ground. The table was near a man and woman in a wheelchair whom she didn’t recognize. Sadie gasped in surprise, then humiliation and pain washed over her. She quickly began clambering back to her feet as pain radiated throughout her body. Soft hands helped her up, and she knew it was Genny. A quiet fell over the party as everyone turned to glance at her. A blush crept up her face and tears were at the back of her mind, but she didn’t let them fall. ”I’m so sorry!” Sadie blurted out, looking at the man and the woman in the wheelchair she had nearly toppled over. She turned to face the woman and the dress she’d tripped on. ”I apologize as well. Are you all right?” The woman and her friends sneered at her, and the lady rolled her eyes. ”We’re fine, but I doubt your pride is.” She replied bitterly, and the ladies laughed boisterously. Sadie bit her lip and frowned in response, but then let a smile grace her face once more. ”I… I am okay….. Thank you. I am glad you’re well.” Sadie then marched forward and averted her gaze as she sat beside Drake, trembling slightly, and noticed from her peripheral vision, Genny glared at the woman with so much heat and force that it would have killed her if possible. Her guards even walked past them purposely and moved to stand a distance away from Sadie, but remained protectively nearby. ”...Do you want me to still sit with you?” Soon after, a familiar voice can be heard addressing the unsavory group of women. ”Ladies, my sincere apologies. However in consideration of all our guests I will have to remind you that this is a formal gathering and proper decorum is encouraged. Please mind your volume, thank you.”
