[INDENT]A loud knock at the door of the shared dorm room, caused Alyssa to nearly jump out of her skin, shooting up in the armchair from the position she had curled up in to do her daily reading. Morning sunlight had perfectly graced the seat she occupied with its warming presence, drawing Alyssa in like a cat. She had happily sunk into between its arms and cushions, contently sitting with her Bible in one hand and a tea in the other. Jumping up from the armchair as another knock echoed from the door, Alyssa pulled it open to find the trio of RJ, Zebulun and Eden waiting on the other side. 

Standing with a half-buttoned Hawaiian shirt, RJ had a pair of sunglasses resting atop what looked to be a carefully manicured bedhead while Eden was hanging off of Zebulun's shoulders, the pair of them grinning back and forth at each other. Alyssa had to catch her eyes from wandering as they followed a single bead of sweat rolling down RJ's pecs and towards his abdomen. She swallowed, her mouth suddenly dry as her cheeks began to feel flushed.

[color=#7EE4C2]"Hey, Aly!"[/color] Zebulun was the first to speak, breaking the silent staring contest between Alyssa and RJ.

[color=#7EE4C2]"A bunch of us are heading out to the beach, like all of Eclipse is going, along with anyone else that wants to tag along. I'm going to get some killer waves going for us to rip up."[/color] He suddenly stopped mid-explanation as he fought to stifle a giggle caused by Eden blowing on his ear lobe.

[color=#2AB041]"You and your dormmates should totally throw on a cute suit and join us!"[/color] Eden interjected, resting her head on Zebulun's shoulder. [color=#2AB041]"We already invited everyone in H.E.A.T. from the other Houses."[/color]

[color=#FF9F36]"I'll have to double-check what I brought!"[/color] Alyssa stammered. [color=#FF9F36]"I think I brought- no wait that might be too... Oh but there's, no, no, too low cu-"[/color] Normally the verbose, she was having a hard time stringing together words as she curtsied slightly towards RJ. 

[color=#FF9F36]"Always nice to see you Robert Scott."[/color]

[color=#9F36FF]"Sup Aly?"[/color] RJ smiled back, [color=#9F36FF]"Did you get a chance to listen to that playlist that I sent you?"[/color] 

Alyssa felt the tops of her ears turn red. [color=#FF9F36]"I did! I especially liked the one by KALEO."[/COLOR]

[color=#9F36FF]"Which one?"[/color] RJ replied, [color=#9F36FF]"'[i]I Want More[/i]' is such an upbeat and optimistic song, whereas '[i]I Can't Go On Without You[/i]' just embodies the artist's pain and communicates loss even without words. The guitar solo at the two-minute and forty-six-second mark doesn't even need lyrics, you can hear it cry in the chords and the minor progression."[/color]

Alyssa looked down at the floor, she hadn't realized there was more than one song by KALEO on the playlist, let alone have gotten any of that out of the songs she had heard. Realizing she still needed to ask the other girls about the beach, Alyssa opted to cover her embarrassment by excusing herself to fetch Elodie, Sierra and Tista.

[color=#FF9F36]"Oh sorry, hold that thought, I'll be right back, just want to ask the other girls if they want to come."[/color]

Knocking on Sierra's door first, Alyssa didn't hear any noise from inside, which generally speaking meant that Sierra wasn't home. The younger girl, even with her numerous clones, was known for keeping busy at nearly every hour of the day. Moving on to the next room, Alyssa tapped on the door before calling out.

[INDENT]Even after three nights in the new bed, Alyssa couldn't fully express just how nice it was to be able to fully stretch out and starfish across the entire queen-sized mattress.

And the closet.
