So I've been steadily working on the movie. It's actually going to be a web series with episodes and chapters. 

As for the story, it isn't quite the same as Sanctuary, but I can turn it into that. Or alternatively, I can launch Sanctuary as a separate IP once I get the big resources. 

But right now, it's a story about a human (myself) that lives in an alien simulation after dying the wrong way. There's all types of spirits and metaverse type stuff going on there. The prologue ends with a return to Earth with warnings of a catastrophe to come.

I could easily convert that catastrophe to the Void Gate opening and have Sanctuary happen on Earth :o
