Hello hello! I'm trying a different approach to an RP I want to do but haven't found many takers for. I want to break the thing I'm looking for down to some basic components! First though, a quick introduction: * I play male characters, female characters, and female-presenting futanari characters. However, I exclusively seek to play with female characters. * I am very much an adult. I've been RPing longer than some of you have been alive. Most of my RP experience has been on MUSHes and instant messengers however, not on forums -- so forgive me if my posts don't end up being especially fancy. * Smut is fun! I enjoy it! I typically prefer to have some level smut in 90% of my RP, but I like to keep it at around a reasonable 50/50. Sometimes less, depending on the plot. * I use anime and AI generated faceclaims. I have no interest in using real life images for faceclaims, but realistic AI stuff is fine. * I RP in 3rd person past tense, and I can write anywhere from 3 to 30 paragraphs at a time depending on what I have to work with. I have no hard and fast requirements for post length, but I do ask that my partners stick to a 3rd person past tense just for the sake of my sanity. * I don't do fandom RP. Everything I do is strictly OC x OC in either a real-world setting or an original setting. Exceptions are very very rare. * My post times depend on my schedule. Sometimes I can post every day for a week, other times it might take me a couple days. Life comes first, but I'll try to keep you informed. I* tend to prefer RP to unfold organically -- I don't do a ton of planning past the initial exchange where we figure out what we want to RP. * I don't like to publicly share my RP -- particularly where smut is involved. I prefer to keep things in PMs or in a Google Doc somewhere if we don't use PMs. * Writing Samples are available upon request. Now that that's out of the way, let's get into the details of what I'm looking for.
The bare basics of what I'm looking for is a team of pretty girls with superhuman abilities. They're not quite superheroes -- not really -- but they're more than human. This team is -- well -- part of a team! There's a group of them all operating under a single metaphorical banner, with a 'Manager' of sorts working behind them to lead them to victory, despite having no extraordinary powers or abilities of their own. There are harem aspects to this concept, as implied by the name. The members of this team are linked by their relationship to the 'Manager' of the team. The ideal situation would have this link be in some way sexual, facilitating smut. Furthermore, the link would also come with a tangible benefit for the members of the team. It's a little bit of a give and take for the relationship. The exact details of what those benefits are could be anything. Power, money, prestige, honor, whatever. My favorite approach is to make the benefits related to an improvement over the powers that already make them special, or giving them NEW powers. Something that would otherwise be impossible if they tried to strike it out on their own, and are only possible because of their relationship with their team and the team manager. The only detail that matters is the team and their relationship to a non-powered leader who's role is to direct the team's actions. The rest is just window dressing. If there's one thing I want readers to take away from this post, it's that single point.

There should be something that the Battle Harem is there to fight, a challenge that presents itself that makes a team of superhuman people a requirement. It should be something that would be exceedingly difficult or even impossible for a group of ordinary people to accomplish, but something that this team can do just fine with good teamwork or enough power. Challenges can range from environmental conditions: * Clearing a storm * protecting a target from collapsing rubble during an earthquake * Hiding from the shadow of death itself Actual direct challenges: *A race to see who can reach a destination faster * Arm wrestling against a giant kraken * Guessing the riddles of a sphinx Or even combat encounters either against another team or against something like monsters spawning from a portal into the real world.

In some settings, a battle harem as described above could be commonplace. Maybe there's a whole economy built around competitive teams of superhumans; sponsorship deals, licensed merchandise, fan mail, an actual team name for branding. In these settings, the introduction of a new team may not be a big deal. Think of it like a game of pokemon the manager is a pokemon trainer, and their goal is to put together a team to challenge the best of the best to become a champion, and maybe take care of some potential crisis along the way. In other settings, this might be something new and scary. Superhumans alone could be a major problem that's causing widespread panic and chaos. This team could add to that chaos just by existing, or it could have been formed in order to try and bring some order to a chaotic situation where the authorities just aren't equipped to deal with the problem. These settings would revolve heavily around the changes that the world is forced to endure as it comes to term with the idea of superhumans. Nations may fall, new groups may rise and new alliances may be formed as the world itself is forced to adapt to its new reality -- this one is a particular favorite of mine. I like to experiment with the way the world changes over time as familiar institutions crumble and are replaced over time. Finally, we have settings where teams like this prospective Battle Harem are created in response to a greater threat. Maybe the world is plagued by an alien menace, and teams of superhumans are put together to fight back. There's less of a competitive feel to this, and more cooperative as individual teams are split up and sent out to deal with different problems by a tactical command structure. Or, in cases where there is no such command structure, it might fall to individual teams to carve out a way for humanity to survive in a hostile environment like another world. (I've got a whole RP pitch for this one if someone's interested.)

The manager is the character I typically prefer to play. They're the 'Dominant' character in this idea. The boss. And they have almost no super powers of their own -- or maybe their powers are strictly support-based. Whatever the case may be, the fact that they are the weakest link in the team is intentional. The members of the Battle Harem should be capable of defending their manager, whatever that manager is called in the actual RP setting. You can think of this like an actual sports team manager. The person can't effectively play the game, but they have enough information about what's going on to effectively direct the people who can in order to bring about a win. Sometimes the 'Manager' might also be a member of the team, which is fine, but doesn't really provide the vehicle for the benefits I mentioned earlier in the post -- at least not as far as I see it. Maybe there's ways to tie those concepts together in a way that works synergistically for the purposes of the plot.
If you're interested, PM me. We can talk about the details, brainstorm exactly the kind of world and story we want to play in, and go from there! I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks for reading!
