Hey, going to have to delay this a bit, I've not been feeling very well and I just don't feel up to posting an adequate OP tonight. Sorry! It'll probably go up in the next two days.
It's alright. Honestly, I thought it was because of me since I had all sorts of trouble with character updates. And sadly, it got worse since I threw together two characters instead of the "one" requirement plus still no mech. Still, I better at least show my updates here. Again, sorry Vita.
Name: "Angela" (Doesn't remember her real full name.) Callsign: "Alien Angel" but formely was called "Grendel". Age: 21 (?) Gender: Female Appearance: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/superrobotwars/images/f/ff/Mai_Kobayashi.png/revision/latest?cb=20120831134508 Standing 5'10" with an unknown weight though looks slight toned in muscle. Personality: Rather Stoic at times. Usually talks in a monotone voice helped by the pilot helmit she wears most of the time. While she talks to whoever is employing her for a job and asks questions, those are the only real times you can get a "read" on her. Outside of that, she tends to be distant and aloof unless she has to follow some "order" from her employer or anyone within the EINHERJAR heirachy. Due to trama from her past, she tends to keep her distance from others. Even more so towards anyone wearing "lab coats" or anything similar looking. But it's said that there ARE possibly one or more individuals she does talk to normally but in private. Skills: AUG Pilot/Foot Soldier - Put basically, Angela not only knows how to pilot AUG's but also knows a combination of hand-to-hand combat, knife fighting and gunplay or CQC. Even outside of a AUG, Angela knows how to defend herself. Mechanic - Because of her distant nature, Angela also knows her way around basic maintenance of just about any AUG or at least ones she's studied long enough since she doesn't trust anyone else with her own AUG. One of her earliest of odd jobs with EINHERJAR was helping other merc's AUG's upkeeping from time to time. Minor Healing Factor - Perhaps her most mysterious skill, Angela's body seems to recover from injuries quicker than your average human. Though enough damage or critical wounds to either the head or her heart could kill her or so she was told from her past... Brief History: Angela herself wished she knew why things happened when it did. What was she doing? When did things just become...complicated? Who was she? Why did she do what she was told? To this day, Angela's questions just continued. For as far back as she could remember, most of her time was spent inside a human sized tube of water. Constantly being watched by people in white lab coats. Then, when she was let out of said tubes to do physical activites and other forms of exercise that included training in combat and piloting AUG's. But then...the needles. The experiments...but she took it. She didn't mind because she, put simply, wasn't "self aware" at the time. Pain quickly went away for her. There were a few others like her too it seemed but she couldn't even remember names. Then, she remembered how paniked the people were one day...they said something about an army advancing. That they were out of time...that they needed to deploy the experiments. That's when her and three others were immedately told one thing: defend the LTS army. Kill anyone that were "marked as UEC". Immedately dressed in a pilot uniform and given a custom Mobile Armor, her squad were then deployed into the war front. That's when things were becoming clearer. She was one of a few "test pilots" supporting the LTS war effort. Though even in the water tank, she did remember hearing one scientist say that the LTS themselves were not aware of said lab. That they were to simply deploy "quietly" and just assist when ordered. To never show your face or remove any part of your uniform to anyone. Thus how it went when the war raged. Here and there, Angela just fought when and where she was told. Never question her own orders. Just fight...survive...destory...live. Then...the day she changed...the day she was deployed to Bifrost...the sheer scale of the battle triggered something in her...at the time, she couldn't tell what but that was her first experience with an emotion. Horror...seeing people's bodies outside of a mech...then nothing as a stray shot knocked down her Mobile Armor...darkness...then remembering someone opening her damaged cockpit...seeing a "child"...no a soldier...pilot. That was when she first met a UEC pilot callsign "Record" but said to simply call him "Jake". A survivor of the Bifrost battle and formerly a "Recon" operative, he was merely looking for survivors in the aftermath of that battle but also had a given assignment at the time. He knew about the "lab" Angela came from...that her squad was gone, possibly all dead...but so where both armies. One thing led to another and Angela followed the former UEC pilot Jake for whatever days she had left since even he had enough of the war. Things were clearer but not crystal thanks to Jake. She was experimented on to be something called an "Esper" but instead had her minor healing factor. Jake only heard rumors but started finding pieces of evidence about the lab but then too late that he realized the LTS weren't even aware of it's presence. "But that's what war does Angela...it brings out the worst in people", Jake had said. After some time, Angela finally pulled herself together to SOME extent that she agreed to do work for the EINHERJAR with Jake being her "handler" as to avoid physical presence. Now she had a new "order" or perhaps a "personal" one. Her own identity. Who was she? Was she anyone specific or just a thing raised in a tube?

Name: "Jake" but real name "Jackson Armstrong" Callsign: "D.J." but formerly "Record" of the UEC military. Age: Refuses to reveal but appears to be Late 20's. Gender: Male Appearance: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/advancewars/images/e/ed/Awds-jake.png/revision/latest?cb=20190327203330 Standing 6'2" and a normal build for a body. Personality: Jake actually has two parts of a personality. When in a casual environment, he can be social for one who's living was military and piloting AUG's. His love for music shows too since he's never without some form of a headset. While for comms, he also uses it for listening to music when the free time presents itself. Likeable a social when needed, he gets along easily if you give him the time. The other part, though, is when he's on duty, work or just plain combat. He's the definition of "slacker to soldier" in a heartbeat. When it's time to take something seriously, he does. He voice sounding more serious than friendly and his body language changing to that of a trained soldier rather than relaxed. There's a time and place for everything to Jake. His personality included. Skills: Recon - Stealth. Perceptive. Information Gathering. General combat. Jake was train for more sensitive work rather than an all-out fight. For him, intelligence data is everything when it comes to mission success. Mechanic - Jake also knows his way around AUG's in general. Give him some blueprints and other information on said AUG and he'll help repair or perform maintenance. This was one of his earliest jobs with EINHERJAR. Field Medic - While not the best pilot, Jake made up for it from his mother side at being a field medic. Be it physical or even "mental" wounds, Jake has both good medical practices and good "bedside" manners to help heal anyone to the best of his ability. Brief History: Before he went by the simple name "Jake" and callsign "D.J.", Jackson Armstrong aka "Record" came from a long line of a military family. Many who had served some time within the UEC. At the time, Jake's father was a proud ACE AUG pilot while his mother was a field medic. Both having a solid career and even the trust of many soldiers who happened to have the good fortune of either serving under them or being treated by them. Jackson, though trained early for such a lifestyle, struggled to meet up to such expectations. But that's when those higher ups noted a talent for Jackson Armstrong. His ability to use stealth, understand information quickly and even pick up and operate medical equipment allowed Jackson to have a place within the UEC. They had plenty of pilots so they decided to see if he could live up to another form of work. Thus he was given a position within the military has a "black ops" operative. Despite the dangers such a position brought and even some concern from his parents, Jackson did so with pride. Usually going behind enemy lines as a "civilian", he merely did the basic things. Sometimes, simply watching normal television and reporting on how other nations, colonies or politicians thought about the UEC through news outlets in general gave them a rough idea on how to approach certain situations. At least, that's how Jackson saw it. But that changed one day when Jackson started hearing rumors from one colony he was stationed to. Something about a possible uprising...and a name he heard: Anthen Nilsk. Soon, media outlets were saying how quickly he was gaining political favor from the outer colonies. But Jackson woundered if he was the reason why there were so much corruptions from different sources like from several corporations. Then came the terror attacks. One of which Jackson nearly avoided when he was simply going around a shopping mall of all places when a bomb had gone off. Thankfully, he didn't push his luck and quickly evac'ed out of there. Reporting his concerns about this, his superior had told him that they were looking into it. Though to Jackson, it didn't really feel that way...either that or they weren't taking it seriously enough. Not even he could tell from his end but he saw all the warning signs. The UEC was losing it's grip on the Outer Colonies. Then came Lemnos...led by now Prime Minister Anthen Nilsk. Jackson then started getting some more dangerous assignments. One being to investigate Lemnos. Given new identities to work with to keep moving about undetected, Jackson began his mission. During of which, he hit on something big. There was possibly "illegal experimentation" being conducted on breeding "Espers" going on. Jackson heard of the so called "mind readers" but considered it a rumor without evidence. Regardless, if such a thing was taking place, it needed to be shut down. Or at least, find evidence of it's existance and report it's location. Eventually, one lead led him to Bifrost...and that was the moment his eyes were opened on what "war" does. He had tracked down a scientist who was supposedly managing "test pilots" to assist the LTS war efforts. Jackson had tracked him to an underground bunker with other civilians hiding from the sheer chaos of the fighting. And during all that chaos...the scientist came clean...before said bunker was hit hard enough that part of a roof cave in and, perhaps in a moment of irony, crushed the scientist only. And that's when he remembered something his uncle once told him when he was much younder. "Jackson...don't worry about our family name...miliary life isn't for everyone...for one, when war happens...well...let's just say it brings out the worst in people." And after the battles in Bifrost were over, he saw it first hand. Although painful, he turned his back on the UEC and stopped contacting his superior. He didn't want to but after everything the scientist told him, he couldn't even tell WHO to trust anymore. He then joined up with the locals on Bifrost with recovery and that's when he tracked down one of those "test pilots" from the lab he was tracking. One thing led to another and Jackson even dropped his full name. No longer worthy of it, he now goes by the simple name "Jake" callsign "D.J.". Because he also learned something else...in war, the very first casualty...was "truth". And now for Jake, he was going to find that truth.
