Shayton is quick to the point and very no-nonsense and if anyone's doing anything crazy aboard the Nest... then they're going to get his well-trained foot up their ass. However, he does care about the Vulture Squad and wants to see them get to where they need to go and back - while also stopping them from doing anything stupid to damage the Nest in the process. Shayton is a prodigy at flying and was previously the top Shell pilot in the world for WOLFHOUND... however, he chose to retire and fulfill his dream of flying. Shayton is an African-American man who is notable for his well-maintained afro and his sunglasses. He doesn't use an official callsign but likes to be called Shayton over his real name.[/indent]

He gained the Grim Reaper title as he has slain more Shell pilots (regardless of affiliation with the corporations) than any other pilot in the world. It is stated to be a death sentence to go up against Abel as his Shell is specifically designed to eliminate other pilots. Not just that, but Abel has cybernetics installed that suppress his ability to feel emotion, making him the most efficient and calculated warrior on the battlefield.[/indent]

It's incredibly hard to stagger or slow down as it makes up for its low base movement speed with powerful thrusters that can launch it in range for its powerful shotguns. It's shotguns are so powerful that they can shred Shells to bits. However, it has shoulder-mounted cannons that can fire powerful armor-piercing rounds if it cannot get in range.[/indent]

[indent]The mission control to the Death God Unit and the one that gets assigned all of their missions is known as the Eclipse... much like Ava, Tabitha is a rarity to be seen in person, however, only Abel has seen her in person. She is very well known in the Wolfhound circles despite her being a mystery, and has led team after team after team... before she finally got her dream gig; the Death God Unit. With her exceptional skills, she has made sure that the team gets through every mission and then gets paid. Unlike Ava, she's very talkative and catty and is not above making snide and smarmy remarks towards other pilots. However, much like Abel, she has a hidden agenda for the mission.[/indent]

They are led by Abel with their mission control, Tabitha Crest, operating in the background. They were originally known as the Steelhearts, but they gained such infamy for their skill and eliminating other Shell pilot teams that they gained the moniker of "Death Gods". They eventually rebranded themselves as the Death God Unit and the fear of them has only increased sense. They gained notoriety in WOLFHOUND in the Death Valley incident, which was a battle where fourteen teams of Shells (and two Bastions) went in, and only the Death God Unit came out. The Death God Unit specializes in Shell-to-Shell combat in which they are completely unmatched and they have Shells that specialize in taking out other Shells. They have been hired by Paragon United in order to assist in taking out the IOR's advanced Shells...[/table][/hider][/hider]
