[indent]The Patriot is a 12.5 meter tall medium-class shell with light speed. It's painted in a bright red sheen. Some question the logic behind painting a mech a bright, visible color, but it only perfectly intertwines with the actual purpose the mech is meant to serve. The frame is long and thin, keeping the extremities a fair distance from the mech's center of mass. It's weapon rack hangs on the back. The shell is equipped with boosters capable of launching the shell upwards and into the air, allowing it to lunge directly at enemies from above.

The Patriot is designed for close-quarters combat, with both built-in claws that can tear apart rival mechs as well as a small array of superheating melee weapons that can cut apart low-class unarmored mechs like a stick of butter. Additionally the mech also wields a high-powered shotgun for middle-ranged opponents, and an additional sidearm in the case a target is out of physical reach.

The downside of the Patriot is both it's light size and lack of ranged options. Despite being to easily cut through most classes of armor, the patriot itself has little if any armor, instead relying on it's speed and mobility to close in on a target and incapacitate them, then immediately flee before any allies target them. It also lacks any powerful long-ranged options, making it useless against artillery.[/indent]

[indent][color=#cc2d18][b]Anti-Armor Claws - [/b][/color] Claws designed to easily cut into most grades of armor plates, hook past it, and let the plate be torn off by pulling back suddenly, allowing the shell to practically shred anything in close-quarters combat. Even if the Patriot runs out of ammo or has it's other weapons destroyed, it can still tear most enemies to ribbons if it gets the chance.

[color=#cc2d18][b]Blade of Freedom - [/b][/color] A superheated longsword that is able to easily cut through most frames like a knife through butter. The cost of it's effectiveness is that after being drawn, within seconds it must be resheathed into the weapon rack in order to maintain it's superheating, making it only ideal for quick finishing assassinations rather than prolonged close-quarters-combat. 

[color=#cc2d18][b]Old Faithful - [/b][/color] A longspear with an American flag on the end, wielded as Patriot's primary close-quarters weapon. While it isn't superheated like the blade and therefore cannot easily pierce armor, it's reach makes it ideal at closing in on targets and fighting defensively. 

[color=#cc2d18][b]The Ugly - [/b][/color] A sidearm designed for middle-range combat. A massive revolver with six powerful shells, any one capable of knocking off a plate of armor with a single shot. It lacks ammunition, making it unideal for prolonged shootouts.

[color=#cc2d18][b]The Frontier - [/b][/color] A one-handed shotgun designed for close-ranged combat. While it has more ammunition in reserve than the pistol, it possesses much less range, making it only ideal for close-combat.
