More often than not the only sign that Quinn is nearby is the buzzing of insect wings, signifying that she is in flight. She has lengthy, dirty blonde hair, with slate blue eyes that seem almost cold. Though AEGIS has helped her with clothing, Quinn keeps to basic and bland colors, such as grays or whites. Any thought of expressionism has long left Quinn, who doesn't care for vibrant appearances or the usage of jewelry. Aside from the fact that her clothing is doll-sized, the only other thing that truly stands out from others' appearances is the modifications made to allow her wings to protrude outwards from her clothing.

[SUP][SUB]
▼ B I O G R A P H Y:
[/SUB][/SUP]

Born in the city of Missoula, Montana to Canadian parents, Quinn is a dual US-Canadian national who spent much of her childhood frequently border-hopping between both countries. Whilst she had spent most of her days growing up in the United States, her parents would often drag Quinn along to Canada to visit her grandparents, cousins and other relatives during the weekends or holidays, such as Christmas or Easter. Although Quinn had been related to her relatives by blood, she couldn't help but feel detached from her relatives; their experiences being completely different from her own. She would visit them countless times, but it didn't change the fact they felt like strangers to Quinn. It was as if she had been told she was one thing, but had been instead something else entirely different, like someone torn between two different identities. Her parents could never understand her growing dissociation with her Canadian side, and instead often took it as childish arrogance which further pushed Quinn away from her own ancestry. When her metahuman gene came into being, Quinn was initially terrified. If she hadn't felt understood before, there would've never been a chance now. Her family turned against her in her moment of need, calling her a freak, a demon, and other specific choice names related to her new abilities. Quinn had found herself promptly disowned, being forced out of the very house she had called home for nearly two decades. There was nothing she could do to stop the fallout, and before Quinn knew it, she had become homeless and forced to live on the streets. Watching everything go up in flames before her own very eyes, Quinn was suddenly forced to adapt to her new living situation. It was either be killed or be taken advantage of, which the latter happened more often than not due to her tiny size. In fact, it had been one of these incidents that ultimately led to her becoming a volunteer for the AEGIS programme. It had began at night: Quinn had just fallen asleep, unaware that she was being hunted. The next thing she had known was a box, completely caught off-guard as it scooped her up and trapped her inside like a prison cell. Quinn tried to free herself, but it had been to no avail. She had become a prisoner, or rather, a slave, Quinn would come to know, as she was brought to a roadside stand as an attraction to pull visitors. The only way she could get food or water was if she preformed aerial tricks for guests, being forced to belittle herself for her own survival. For the longest time, Quinn thought that was it; that she was destined to rot away forever in a decrepit cage. To her surprise, however, salvation ultimately came in the form of AEGIS, which had heard of the so-called "bug-girl" roadside landmark that she was. Under the guise of visitors, two AEGIS agents swooped in and succeeded in freeing her, in turn placing Quinn under AEGIS' protection and care. She had been given a bath, fresh clothes, food and water; all things she hadn't had in a long time on the condition she enroll into their metahuman program. A part of Quinn felt as if she had been trading one master for another, but she wasn't stupid. If being enrolled meant not living on the streets and having access to necessities, it seemed better than anything else at the time. At least they weren't asking her to preform for the food she ate.

[SUP][SUB]
▼ M O T I V A T I O N / O B J E C T I V E:
[/SUB][/SUP]

Quinn is someone who is very much conflicted by the world at large. She tends to be a lone wolf, keeping her distance from others. It isn't so much because of a dislike for people, but rather a distrust of people, in particular non-metahumans. Quinn often puts up a figurative wall between herself and others as she is hesitant to lower her guard around people. Countless times she has been cast aside or taken advantage of, such as her lengthy imprisonment before her arrival to AEGIS, and Quinn refuses to let it happen again. Perhaps things will be different now that she is surrounded by fellow metahumans like herself, but such predictions have yet to be seen.

[SUP][SUB]
▼ A B I L I T I E S / S K I L L S:
[/SUB][/SUP]

Upon the activation of her metahuman gene, Quinn has physically shrunk to a miniature size. She stands roughly less than a foot tall, with her everyday necessities needing adjustment to fit her doll-sized body. For instance, though Quinn still requires the same amount of food and water as any other human being, it is but a fraction in relative comparison to what an average-sized person would need. In other words, a small piece of bread would be enough to satisfy Quinn, which would be equivalent to a slice of bread or two for a regular human. The same can be considered of water or any other drink; a droplet could be considered the equivalent of single glass. In addition to her smaller stature, Quinn has gained the ability to fly. Across her back a twin pair of Hymenoptera-inspired wings have sprouted, which entomologists would consider forewings and hindwings. Though flight of this manner requires extensive energy output, it appears Quinn is already aware of these limits, and is beginning to master prolonged flight without the need of rest or replenishment of some kind. —— Q.
