She is often mistakenly described as a robot, though that would only be half-true. Underneath her armor lies her true form. A brown face with stern yet beautiful features. Her eyes and eyebrows are always marked with kohl, her right eye bearing a prominent wadjet symbol. Her body is made from various compositions of magically infused stone and clay, weathered with time and covered with small cracks that overflow with massive amounts of ki, glowing green due to the magic infused into it. Winglike protrusions fold from her back, projecting ethereal, fiery light to aid her movement. She always believes herself to be in the right and looks down on those who would try to argue with her methods and her vast wisdom, especially if they happen to be mortal. Unfortunately, this can come across as unbearably stubborn, to the point that even those who share her goals tend to find her insufferable. She does have a softer side, though it’s encountered less often. She has an insatiable appetite for most forms of collected thought and artistic expression, with a particular penchant for philosophy and music. She actually tends to become rather bored when there isn’t anything going on that demands her attention, and makes an effort to keep up with relatively newer forms of entertainment when she can.

BACKSTORY
"Mankind makes monsters to fight its battles. Across the world and across time, there are many records of a mysterious and powerful warrior mage described in such a way that it seems they could be referring to a single figure, but such things become obscured by the ages. In truth, Seshat’s creation stretches back to the days of Ancient Egypt, and her origins stretch back further still. She, and her siblings, were magical constructs, formed from the earth and fragments from an ancient artifact; a magical blade wielded by an extraordinarily powerful Mediterranean Nomad, and built as an elite military force. Though the details of this process were lost with the Library of Alexandria, it was clear that they were an even greater force than the artifact they were made from. So great, that they easily outlasted the ruling pharaoh. Debate eventually broke out amongst these near godlike beings as they questioned whether they were destined to serve or rule. This eventually led to an all-out battle. Seshat was, in the end, the only one left standing. She felt she could not serve her country anymore, and left on a journey to find her own path. She learned many things in her travels, and found resolve in her new goal to protect humanity as a whole. But just as often, she saw grave threats to her cause; dangerous weapons in the hands of power-hungry warlords, arcane, soul-warping knowledge sought by vain scholars who could not comprehend the threat it posed. Dragons, demons, and things stranger still sought to subjugate and pervert the destiny of man. She sought to end these threats, destroying what she could outright and sealing away that which she could not. All the while, she studied the art of battle, learning from those who caught her interest and adding new skills to her repertoire. While a century meant nothing to Seshat, millennia of travel and battle began to leave their effect on her, perhaps an effect of the wounds she incurred in the battle between her siblings, perhaps an imperfection in her own creation or perhaps something else entirely. It did not matter to her: As her body grew frail and aged, she supplemented it with armor and weapons to protect it, for she would keep fighting no matter what. While she had little interest in how she was perceived, she still knew one thing for sure. The balance of Ma’at was being threatened, and she would make sure that it shall remain undisturbed. While she has shown up in Brazil, she has no interest in competing in the Fighting Carnival. Instead, she cares solely about the Stone, and any who would try to use it for nefarious ends. Her wings allow her to fly at high speeds and change direction unpredictably, while her sheer physical strength is deadly even without projecting a ki blade. Her magic allows her to fire a deluge of projectiles and even teleport with reckless abandon. The only problem? She is incredibly frail. A single attack from most Nomads would be all it takes to wound or even kill her outright. Thankfully, Seshat has adapted. While the ancient warrior can use combat magic effectively, and possesses some of the strongest divination and sealing magics in the world, her trademark magic trick is the ability to “record” objects, so innately and thoroughly that she can summon copies of them in battle. This includes a variety of weapons from all across history and the world, as well as her main suit of battle armor, originally handcrafted in 19XX and designed to aid in both defense and efficient suppression and recycling of her excess ki. She is exceedingly talented in the creation, use and application of almost every weapon ever devised, having spent her entire life traveling, fighting, training, and studying the art of combat from every perspective on Earth. The magic that manifests her equipment enforces its existence in an all-or-nothing fashion. Individual pieces can’t be damaged or broken. Even armor-piercing attacks that would otherwise break through it fail to do so, simply damaging the enchantment more than otherwise. Once sufficiently damaged, the entire suit disappears. In layman’s terms, the suit serves as her primary health bar. While she has a few special techniques, she more closely relies on her arsenal. She can summon each weapon in an instant and release it from existence just as fast, but she can only do so once per battle, requiring a separate, more lengthy ritual to rejuvenate her repertoire. She can wield up to two weapons at once, and can keep two more summoned weapons holstered on her legs, chest, or back. Her armor weighs her down somewhat, preventing her from flying, teleporting, or using her arm blade, but still allowing for graceful leaps, dashes, and wall jumps.

SIGNATURE MOVES
”It’s time.” [sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup]

■ Hope Slides Alone
Seshat goes low to the ground and slides, her wings propelling her along the ground. She moves faster and is harder to hit while sliding, but she can’t block.

■ Keep Quiet
A dash in which Seshat’s wings propel her a short distance in any direction. She can chain up to three of these together in rapid succession before her wings need to recover. When unarmored, the dash becomes a teleport, increasing in potential range and speed. She can charge this move for a short moment, able to chain it into four other maneuvers:

■ ← Breaking Out
A fake-out evasive maneuver, using her stored energy to move a great distance away so fast that it leaves an afterimage behind.

■ ↑ Light Up The Night
Seshat’s wings propel her high up into the air, raining down either magic blasts or projectiles if she has an applicable ranged weapon handy.

■ ↓ The Fall
Only usable in the air, Seshat can use her stored boost to perform a high speed ground pound. This does serious damage if she impacts directly against an enemy, but its primary utility is to create a low-hitting shockwave that sends anyone nearby flying into the air for an easy followup if they aren’t careful.

■ → Here Comes The Arm
An offensive strike where Seshat uses her stored energy to rocket towards the enemy at high speed, culminating in a shoulder check, punch, or strike from her weapon depending on what she’s holding.

■ The Hounds
Seshat shoots out a trailing green homing arrow from her palm that tracks enemies. This only does minor damage on its own, mostly useful as a form of either finding hidden opponents or a form of ranged harassment when she does not have a weapon handy. When unarmored, she can channel these projectiles from her fingers as well, shooting a massive array of up to twelve arrows at once.

Arsenal:

■ 20XX BCE: All That We’ve Seen
”There are many like it, but… Well, I suppose there aren’t anymore.” Seshat’s oldest weapon, an Ancient Egyptian khopesh. It has no special properties or techniques associated with it, but it does not break, no matter how much she uses it. The only way to get rid of it is for her to desummon it herself.

■ 6XX BCE: The Orion Experience
”To the strongest…” A Greek spear of the variety used by hoplites. Even without a shield, it’s one of the most enduring, widespread weapons ever created. Can be wielded with one hand or two, has decent reach, defends effectively, and can be thrown. She can channel magic into it before throwing, calling down an explosive strike of lightning wherever it impacts at the cost of destroying the weapon.

■ 185: Roundabout
”I see you have ten weak points, whereas I have ten strong ones!” A Chinese guandao. Trained in the iconic shaolin style, Seshat can use it to make rapid and hard to predict twirling strikes.

■ 10XX: State Line
”The best offense, they say, is a good defense!” A well-constructed iron shield from the medieval era. Has limited offensive use, but allows her to more effectively block and parry attacks. It can alternatively be enchanted to embed itself in place and project a magic wall to provide cover until it breaks.

■ 1187: Straight and Narrow
”Blood never sleeps.” A Turkish composite bow. Though she has no horse to go with it, she’s an incredibly adept archer, able to accurately arc her shots to hit targets at extreme distances. She can hold multiple arrows in between her fingers to shoot more rapidly, or charge a special magic shot for a faster, piercing projectile that can hit multiple foes. Comes with a quiver that can hold a dozen arrows, though she can reclaim them after being fired.

■ 15XX: Mayan Nights
”With this many Spaniards fell, some dead and some wounded, and others without any injury who fainted away from fright.” A mesoamerican macuahuitl. The enchanted obsidian blades embedded into the club do nasty damage even against Nomads’ ki shielding, but they shatter as soon as a hit is blocked. After that, the club itself has no special properties, with its damage being somewhat underwhelming.

■ 1613: RYDEEN
”Do nothing that is of no use.” A Japanese katana and matching wakizashi. Embodying the techniques and philosophy of Niten Ichi-ryū, she can use these together in a powerful defensive stance, focusing on reacting to gaps in opponents defenses and doing additional damage on counter hits. The blades are somewhat lacking in durability compared to the rest of her weapons, however.

■ 1913: Carabina 30-30
♪ “ven paráteme aquí enfrente… tú que nunca tienes miedo…” ♪ A Winchester Model 1894, fresh from the revolution. It still packs a decent punch, and can either be fired more quickly two-handed, or more stylishly with an iconic twirl. Holds seven rounds, along with two full reloads’ worth of bullets stored along the stock, though the weapon needs to be reloaded one cartridge at a time.

■ 1982: Fire On High
”Poor baby, you’re starting to lose it…” A customized flamethrower originally meant for use in sub-zero environments. It shoots an alchemical compound that, while not as far-reaching as gelled fuel, does lots of damage very quickly, even to Nomads, though its preferred use is destroying documents, locations, and artifacts. Has enough fuel for a few seconds of continuous fire that extends to a range of around ten feet. While the fuel tank is well armored enough to be safely carried into battle, it can be detached from its plating, thrown, and then detonated with a well-placed ranged attack for a deadly explosion using its remaining fuel stores.

■ 1984: Timebomb
”I only need to be lucky once. You will have to be lucky always.” Seshat throws down one of three explosives: A landmine triggered by proximity, an improvised explosive triggered by a switch, or a “liberated” Huginn-module drone packing a C4 charge that chases a target until it gets close. She can use each of these once.

■ 19XX: Joy Division
”Even if SHADER defies God, they cannot defy Justice.” An almost cartoonishly large revolver once used by Justice Rider Stars. Though its wielder claimed it was a firearm to match the Infernal Gear, in truth it only managed to beat its atrocious rate of fire. Still, it’s the punchiest ranged weapon in Seshat’s regular arsenal, hitting even Nomads with hammering blows due to the sheer size of its cartridges. Holds five shots with an additional two speedloaders, and can be fired one handed at a slow pace. Can be charged for a short moment to fire the entire cylinder at once, somehow creating a star-shaped laser that does extra damage and pierces through multiple opponents.

■ 200X: Death Machine
”Held together by prayers and duct tape…” An American M249. Its sizable two hundred rounds of ammunition have been modified to focus on generating additional heat rather than doing more damage. If fired continuously for a short time, the modified barrel and bayonet become superheated, at which point it can be detached and transformed into a combat knife that does major damage until it cools. Seshat is strong enough to fire this weapon one handed.

■ 20XX: Super X-9
”I shall not dignify that fop with a quote.” An experimental Minerva Defense Logistics energy shield. It has the unique property of being able to bounce attacks straight off its projected surface, throwing melee attackers off balance and sending ranged attacks back at increased speed and damage. Unfortunately, its energy supply is disastrously low, failing after reflecting a mere five attacks regardless of their damage or frequency. It can also be used with Seshat’s own ranged attacks if she throws the shield, able to strengthen and rebound shots towards opponents in creative ways. With perfect timing and positioning, she can even combine this with her piercing weapons to potentially hit a foe twice with one shot should she be able to curve her throw well enough to get it behind them.

SUPER MOVES
"Tougher than I thought... A connected small drone can carry one of Seshat’s regular weapons, able to swing or shoot it from a position anywhere within a few feet of her. Her ammo for all these weapons is still limited, however, and all the extra bulk slows her speed down to a crawl.

■ 1298: THE LIGHT THAT SHINES ABOVE ALL
”I have brought you to the ring. Now dance.” Seshat summons a massive claymore said to be forged with the spirit of liberation. Requires both hands to wield, but is strong, wide-reaching, and does not break from continued use. By channeling her power through the runes etched into the blade, she can turn her swings into large waves of light that serve as a ranged projectile.

■ 1942: HEAVEN PIERCE HER
”Dasvidaniya…” Seshat summons her beloved favorite; a Soviet PTRS-41 anti-tank rifle. The original weapon and cartridge have been modified to the point where it can easily pierce through even modern battle tanks, and has no issues doing the same to Nomads. Even when blocked, it still does the majority of its normal damage and continues on through. Boasts an extreme and downright unmatched effective range, and is more than capable of punching through anything standing in its way. Despite its obscene power, it only has one shot, and the weapon’s absurd seven foot length makes it impossible to use in close quarters. She can, in a staggering feat of marksmanship, wield this weapon one-handed, though she needs to use both and steady her aim to reliably hit long range shots. Her vast arsenal is, at the end of the day, limited. Weapons degrade with use and ammunition is spent in kind. She can swap between weapons rapidly to create mixups and combos, but only at the cost of prematurely destroying those she discards. Her equipment can only be recovered through a lengthy ritual of around half an hour, leaving her especially disadvantaged by prolonged series of engagements. Without her weapons and armor, she’s technically vastly more effective, but she’s so frail that she would almost always rather flee.

OTHER
"I must go now.
