Name: Adrian Sandu Appearance: Age: 17 Family: Borland Status: Fostered Personality/History: Adrian was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to first-generation Moldovian asylum seekers. His father was an engineer and his mother was a teacher before they moved to the States. Unfortunately, his parents were caught in a car accident when he was 11 years old. Adrian was placed in a complicated situation of not having any family members in the country to care for him. Unfortunately, he was quickly placed in the foster care system when the government was unable to reach his extended family in Moldova. Eventually, he was assigned by a case worker to be one of Tory Borland's foster children. Since losing his parents five years ago, Adrian has been guarded when it came to relationships and has never really gotten too attached or too close to people. Initially, he was also very unmotivated about his future. This was something that Tory wanted to remedy and quick. When he was finally old enough to work he was going to apply to work at the local AMC theatre's concession stand. Tory was not going to have it. She wanted him to work at the closest private golf club because she thought this would expose him to a world he wasn't used to and hopefully help change his perspective. During his first month working there, he felt that his eyes were opened. Here were people who would talk about their vacation homes, overseas investments, kids' Ivy League education, and who would easily drop thousands of dollars at the club. From that day on he was driven to do whatever it took to become just like one of them. Other: He works at the Eastvale Pines Golf Club as a caddie. Plays football for the Angelwood High School's team. Thoughts On Characters: “Duncan's a decent fellow to have on your side I supposed. Maybe in a different world, if things were just different, we would get to know each other better. Although, he's always nice enough to make me something when I come by the Blue Plate after practice or work.” -- on Duncan Borland “That Marcello guy is one of the cheapest guys who plays at Eastvale. The flashier and fancier they are the more tightly they hold on to what they've got. I prefer folks like old lady Adley. Owner of the club and one of the richest women in the State, but she looks so unassuming. I always appreciate it when she gives me a hundred-dollar tip or generous Christmas bonuses. I would be lucky to see a fiver from Marcello. He's more into working the club's clientele for campaign donations than playing a decent round of golf.” -- on Marcello Zocchi “John Zocci is Angelwood High School's very own preppy boy. He's gifted but not manically driven like his folks. He's wasting away the opportunities, chances, and connections that he has been gifted with. He has everything and all he wants to do is work on art?” -- on John Zocci
