Eventually, victory after victory would draw the world's eyes onto Tess, and upon acquiring a professional agent of her own, she'd find herself laden with sponsorships from well-known companies such as DENSOKU or Mach Motors. In turn, these sponsorships allowed Tess to explore the world and expand to other competitions such as the Pokéthlon at the cost of her and her Pokémon wearing company-themed attire to promote the various product(s) their businesses made. 

As such, it was only natural that she found herself invited aboard the S.S. Lugia as a celebrity, but also to discuss any business details with a few wealthy individuals and their partners that had joined the ship's maiden voyage.[/indent][/indent]
