[b][color=67AB6D]Life Before The Outbreak[/color][/b] 
Life's been grande for Hermes before the outbreak. He's spent his entire life growing up in his generations old home in Manhattan at the heart of Little Italy. He lives with his Mama and Nonna, his deadbeat father having left him at a very early age. Granted his Ma, Francesca, would never say a bad word about him, simply regailing tales of how the met and what kind of man his father was, his habits, all the while his Nonna complains in Italian about how she never cared for that man to begin with. It left Hermes feeling a bit dejected, as if he was the reason his father had left, leaving him for want of a father figure and approval while simultaneously wishing to tear down the patriarchy and rebel against such figures because who needs them? 

He's poured all of these emotions into a healthy outlet at least. Focusing on music, spending hours listening to songs, [i]feeling[/i] their raw emotions and then trying to replicate them on his own. He was gifted a beautiful seafoam green Fender years ago, and hasn't stopped playing it sense. Stickers covering every inch of the back of the guitar from other Indie bands or Games he likes. When he isn't practicing or rehearsing for his band, Hermes is usually found gaming. Preferring Zombie shooter titles to most others but sticking generally in the horror genre of gaming. He's tried getting his Ma and Nonna to play Pandemic several times before as he got the metallic collectors edition, but they always get lost half way through and, since COVID, now complain about how realistic it is. So unless he's watching a show with his family he tends to stay in his room nowadays.

Hermes is an avid reader, having digested every form of media there is for Zombies, Cryptids, and other Monsters of the like. So much so he has several metallic boxes of varying colors with labels for which Apocalyptic disaster they are meant to aid in. The Vampire one clearly has Garlic and Stakes (though recently he had to switch to powdered Garlic as his mother kept tellin' him its a waste of good Garlic), The Zombie one with a slew of survival gadgets and medical necessities, The Lycan one also has stakes but instead with a small bar of silver he found in a pawn shop. And so on. He has a pet goldfish named Percival after Percy Jackson, whom he reads interesting facts to when he comes across them on books or while on TikTok before writing them down into his 'Survival Guide'
