[@Digizel] Sure thing! Dive right in and craft your first post. You can either play it as if you've just hopped off the boat I described or maybe your character had strolled into town earlier.

[@VarionusNW] All options are on the table, but just a heads-up – we already have another player eyeing a Summoner. No biggie, though, as each Eidolon can be unique and personalized. A Thaumaturge would undoubtedly be an excellent fit for the adventure!
