Like Hikaki, they can breathe fire, and have powerful claws. Unlike Hikaki, they have horns and bladed tails, as well as jaws powerful enough to crush rocks. They are incredibly territorial, and will chase intruders from their territory with incredible intimidation displays. Though most at home in hot climates, they occasionally wander into forested or coastal areas.

Avsa Raptors are some nasty Rahi to deal with. On a good day they're grouchy and don't like anything near them that they would consider a threat. On a bad day? Well... Tomil still isn't happy about having his mask singed and his armor slashed. Intraspecies competition for territory is usually resolved by locking antlers and pushing and shoving to determine which individual is stronger. Needless to say, these Rahi should be avoided at all costs. However, their tail blades and antlers make for good weapons if a smith can get their hands on them.
