Once, a small village at the edge of the desert suffered from horrible drought. The towering mountains blocked the rain from reaching their little outpost, and before they knew it, sickness had plagued the village. I had lived near that village at the time, and every day I wondered whether they would live to see the next. But the story doesn't end the way you would expect.
