Mie is a very untalkative and shy young woman. She’s fiercely independent and uncertain about accepting help. She is someone with a lot of trust issues.  Despite her guarded nature, Mie expresses a desire for companionship and a dream of finding a partner who accepts her for who she is.  Mie displays compassion towards animals, such as feeding squirrels, and expresses a desire to make others happy. Quirky to those she meets, she curses a lot for a shy person.

She's also easily frightened. It is awfully easy to frighten her and she’s as skittish as a kitten, for unknown reasons even to her. Though you wouldn’t notice it right away, she’s very creative and passionate. She is protective over the beach she walks on and always glares at people who litter on it. She also adores her hobby of sewing and does it obsessively.

One day three years ago, Mie awoke on a dock in the city of Sorian with no recollection of who she was or where she came from. At the least, she understood how to speak and basics, and was able to name herself Mie. Since then, she has lived on the streets and by the docks at the beach, trying her best to get from one day to the next. She’s avoided other people out of fear and confusion for the situation she’s in, and always struggled with intense bouts of fear, but she has never known what she’s afraid of exactly. 

Luckily, a friendly elderly woman gifted her some sewing tools when she noticed Mie watching her knit on a bench by the beach daily and she quietly allowed the lady to teach her. Now she sews for much of her free time. Mie was also able to pick up fishing watching others at the docks, though this was reluctant as she hates to harm living creatures. 

Her life has been the same since then: a homeless girl scared of her own shadow forcing herself to fish to survive.
