[@Nanaya] Curious. Very, very curious. While the pity from earlier was still present, it was drowned out by that all encompassing force; that human wonder, the cat killer. Her eyes twinkled, her lips tugged to the side. Hildegunde had half expected the half elf to go storm off and cry, but this? This was much more interesting. She also had the suspicion that being caught following here would have higher stakes than anticipated. She paused for a moment, just a moment, to recenter herself. Silence was casted upon her boots (and out of habit, her gun), obscurity over her clothing. Up went her hood, leaving all but her lips concealed. At first, she considered following Chloe through the gaze of something else in the woods - her typical target were birds - but she ultimately deemed it too unreliable. No - she would continue to follow herself by foot. She was sure to breathe shallowly, step with purpose. In a way, it was almost routine. After all, while she had only been here once before, she had, in a sense, been here many a time. Different woods, different prey, but the same concept rang true. Watching in silence. Her element. Finding out what was written in her Adapa or who Chloe was talking to was likely a bridge already burned, but to find out where Chloe was heading off to with such purpose and secrecy, and more importantly, why, was still on the table. What was hiding in the woods that Chloe knew of that she did not? Or, perhaps, what was Chloe hiding, that she was trying to hide in the woods?
