A child of disturbingly low Magic Circuit Quality, yet shockingly high Magic Circuit Quantity, Amalie was made her father's problem for her formative years. And, though the patriarch of the broken family would do his best, as Bronze-rank Magus, his opportunities to nurture and strengthen the Quality of her Magic Circuit were few and far between.

It was a divine miracle in his book, when the organization CHALDEAS asked that his daughter join their illustrious membership with the promise to bring her into her most proper power.

Amalie was cruelly named by her mother, and, in some ways, one could say cursed, as her name is, quite literally, "Am A Lie," due to the circumstances of her birth. As a defense against a childhood of prejudice and torment, Amalie developed powerful, yet difficult warding spells that trigger when stressed and make people forget her temporarily.

As a result, she always looks a cross between exhausted and depressed, due to the polar extremes of her Magic Circuits.[/b]

For what reason Asterios choose Amalie is unknown. Perhaps, he feels a kinship with another that doesn't wish to be judged? Perhaps, it is the simplistic nature of her name, her curse. Perhaps, it was just happenstance. Whatever the case, the pair are inseparable.

Amalie has access to Asterios's axes and his superhuman strength while inside Singularities, as well as his keen senses as a half-beast; making her good at tracking by scent, and sensitive to changes in the weather and situation. Upon Install, Amalie is granted full access to Asterios's power and his manner of dress - through, the minotaur is aware enough to increase the coverage of his cast-iron corset to give her some modesty.
