Steven Yu

??? — Dirt Road
Though he had expected some level of variety from the people who rose from the roadside as he had, what Steven had not expected was for the first one to answer his call to be what was unmistakably a small, nine-tailed kitsune with a maid outfit on. There were far more questions that this situation brought upon him than not, but it didn't take much more than the practiced introduction of the girl in fornt of him to sweep him in her pace. Formalized customs and introductions really did transcend boundaries in more than a few ways. "A-ah... Right. Steven Yu," he replied, bowing in turn just as culture had dictated him to do in turn before the voice of a third person pulled his attention towards them instead. When the mention of a plane came up, though, a few more things seemed to click in his head. "A plane? Yeah, I certainly was on one. Wasn't particularly pleasant, what with all the explosions and screaming and all that, but I was," the kitsune responded as he nodded towards the knight. If that was the first question, though, then maybe the same would apply to all of them? Mass reincarnation into a new world wasn't a novel concept, but it made enough sense to accept that as an explanation... Provided their stories—no, their deaths—matched his own. "Uh... Can I assume you were on the same flight, maybe? Japan to US and all that?" he asked in turn. "If so, well... I don't know if it needs to be spelled out. If anything, it might have been better for his psyche to not address the issue—at least, not for the moment. Maybe somewhere not in the middle of the road where who knew what could be waiting around... And doubly so in a fantasy world like this, where moral standards were by no means guaranteed.
