On initial return she had, recouping. Helping where she could with those they had been able to evacuate, and being with Holo; gaining perspective. Of course the explanation had to come of why so many were at the Mansion suddenly. She was honest with Holo, never that type that felt they had to be some perfect image to the one who looked up to them. Holo was the perfect image type- where her powers were concerned. Well, perfect to Jaclyn even if Holo's projected imaginings were still literally rough around the edges. While Jaclyn had been honest, she'd also been direct; not giving graphic details. That was dangerous for someone like Holo. As she spoke, Jaclyn did watch as an imagining of Asteroid M appeared above Holo's head. An imagining of the explosion and- Holo cut it off there. But then, she'd consciously made one of those left behind being safe. More than one- she imagined different realities of safety: rescued by other, alien races; all of the mutants developing secondary mutations that allowed them to survive in space; the old school X-Men showing up just in time in some new, space-aged Blackbird. They eased Jaclyn's spirit, made her smile, made her grin, even share a small laugh. And once she found some peace, it came to her how to engender that in the other survivors. OfAll made a fire. A beacon for the passed spirit. There were many who had, but as they left together she made it so they may come home together; the Mansion serving as a proxy for the one lost in space. She kept this fire- with Holo assisting- for several days; herself watching the smoke rise towards the sky. . .in her mind, towards space. Perhaps a home could be found there again. Afterward, Jaclyn had returned to her apartment in the city for a little while, and to the Outreach Centre. Finding a place nearby, she started learning Okichitaw. Her experience in space elucidating the fact that improving her combat and survival skills could only be a good thing, and shouldn't wait. Of course the Danger Room provided that sort of training, but she was looking to supplement it. She had returned to the Mansion feeling clearer, stronger. . .yet still affected. That would linger in some way for her lifetime, she knew. What was heartening was that she seemed to find her teammates also to some degree better than when she'd left them; all finding their ways to get over that first hurdle. Or most. There did seem to be something off with Guin, and Jaclyn hadn't actually seen much of Mary. . .One had nearly broke her brain in the effort to save everyone and the other was the leader. Jaclyn couldn't imagine fully what either of their realities were, and didn't question giving them space. Presently Jaclyn was walking the halls, intend on a specific location when she heard the wail of a bored individual coming around the corner behind her. She hadn't been around for all of Perry's Mood Booster (tm) exploits, but word had gotten around. One Jaclyn had attended was the sundae one- the best! Holo had been there, too. Presently said little sister was with one of her classmates off premises, having been invited to spend part of the Summer with them. Jaclyn missed having her around but was also glad Holo had some place else to be. Turning around, Jaclyn uttered a small laugh: "The party planner's hit a brick wall with themselves?" she joked.
