When Caden pulls my head back, I blink up at him quizzically before he presses his lips to mine. I’m taken by surprise and it takes a second for it to register in my brain that he’s [i]kissing[/i] me. The dagger falls from my hand and I grab his shirt with with both hands as I kiss him back.
