[/sub] Roslyn had tried not to eavesdropped, but her efforts failed. When she spotted Leon beckoning her over, she gave up being discreet and moved closer. "Is there anything strange on your letter too, Roslyn?" She ignored his subtle glances at Ciro and Trypano as she nodded. She considered how much to reveal as she spoke. "A bit. First it arrived with my family's shipment rather than courier. It mentioned my ship and then some privateers being... obligated to work with the Marquis." As she offered her letter for Leon to look at, her eyes darted briefly toward Ciro. A part of her wondered if he actually knew more than what he told her when he sold her the Nuvole Rosse. She dismissed the thought almost immediately realizing how silly it sounded. He wouldn't do that... right? Her attention returned to Leon, his eyes fixated on her letter. His expressions gave her some reassurance that her discomfort wasn't overblown. "It seems our mutual friend is quite the plotter as well..." He whispered back, his attention once more drifted toward Ciro and Trypano before turning back."Thank you Roslyn." "Truth be told, I don't like it." Roslyn replied in the same quiet tone, her hand taking the letter back. She slipped it into her skirt pocket. It seemed Leon's constant glances had finally gotten Ciro's attention. The dark haired man turned about and joined them. His words said with a smile, but the undertone held annoyance at the lacking politeness. Roslyn shifted to the side to make room for him. Of course after Ciro offered his own letter up, he hinted at reading Leon's too. Ayla also nudged Leon showing her own curiosity. This caused Leon to swiftly apologize then stated they all should share their letters. Roslyn shook her head, amused by having to take her letter back out and offered it up for the others. "Here's mine for whoever wants to read it since we're sharing." She had nothing to hide. At least, not in regards to this.

Off To The Ports [sub]Date: 17th of Velles, Orredes Time: daytime Location: Morrento in Zengali, Mezegol [/sub] After introductions finished, Roslyn weighed the information. She seemed distracted when the sounds of someone talking pulled her from her thoughts. With a deep inhale, she addressed any of her group that remained. "I'm not very elegant with words. It is better I head out to the docks rather than deal with the Marquis. I want some idea of what to expect before we rush into battling this Thresher..." She secured her invitation and rest of her things before adding, hoping it wouldn't be snitched later. "I'm guessing we're all meeting up at the festive later? Do we meet back here or somewhere else?" Leon's voice came from behind her as he chimed in. "I, for one, intend to enjoy the festival to the fullest." He flashed a smile. "We fight tomorrow, so why not enjoy today. But you can find me if you need me, I don't exactly blend into a crowd." He departed with those words as he moved once more toward the encampment. "Yeah, I'm the opposite. I blend way too well into the crowds." Roslyn countered with a small chuckle. She some times envied those that didn't simply disappear, but knew her 'talent' had its own perks. Upon hearing that Ciro was heading toward the port proper, she chimed in. "I guess we'll be accompanying each other for a bit then.
