It’s not long until I hear him breathing deeply and soundly, bringing a relaxed smile to my lips. I stay reading for a while, but soon I’m becoming [i]too[/i] relaxed. Carefully placing the books by the bedside lamp before turning it off, I wiggle my way under the covers and cuddle up behind Caden, letting him unknowingly be the little spoon. I close my eyes and try sleeping for the first time I can remember.
