[indent][color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Jolie is the youngest of the two Russo children, having been born 23 minutes after her brother Julian.
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Born and raised in Long Beach and has only attended schools in the area, while her parents Jace and Ariana are transplants from Palm Beach, Florida.
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] She had a happy, comfortable, stable childhood in an upper middle class neighborhood, with two parents who loved and spoiled their children as much as they did each other.
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Watching her parents’ relationship, petty arguments aside, is where JoJo thinks her Hopeless Romantic origins come from. The way her dad looks at her mom, and the way she smiles brighter than the sun whenever they're together, is the kind of love she aspires to have in her life one day.
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Contrary to her brother who loved the spotlight since he was born and made many friends, Jolie always tended to stick to only a handful of close friends, most of which she remains close with to this day.
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Although their personalities are night and day, the twins have always been close to one another, and are an integral part of who they are as individuals. Growing up and finding their chosen families means they've drifted apart a little, but their bond remains the same. No matter how much they bicker, argue and get on each other's nerves, Julian and Jolie would die for one another.
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Her love for reading presented itself at an early age, as did her affinity for keeping physical records of her innermost thoughts. She's kept journals and diaries for nearly ten years-- since her parents gifted her with her first one on her eight birthday. Having a nosy brother meant that the hiding place of Jolie's writings changed constantly, and she constantly stressed about them being found until she asked her parents for a fireproof safe. She wears the key as a necklace, and has hidden the spare copy somewhere safe and out of Julian's grabby hands. 
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] While it was obvious that Jolie was academically talented and did well in her studies, it was also clear that her future wasn't in Education or STEM, but rather in art and its history. She wasn't much of a painter herself (only did it for fun), but she enjoyed looking at painting exhibitions and knowing the story behind each piece. 
[color=CF8FB6]♡[/color] Throughout her life and during her high school career, Jolie has walked on that tightrope of not quite being a wallflower, but not quite being popular either. Being Julian's sister, attending various sporting events (don't ask why) and representing her school in the Math Olympics means that people are at least aware of her existence, but not enough to wreak havoc on her life. She's quite content with the position she's in at now, as it doesn't distract her from her goal of college. But life has a funny way of working out, and you never know what can happen next…[/indent]
